"I tell no one any story but his own." (take 2)

All right, so.

Since Aslan is basically the equivalent of GOD in his world, that means, aside from being practically omnipotent, he is also omniscient - i.e. there is canonical evidence for him knowing not only about what happens in worlds that aren't his own, but also about people (their names, etc) before he even talks to them. For the sake of the game, this will obviously be toned down in terms of what he can/cannot know about in-game events and people, but just so I'm not stepping on any toes, please fill out the following form so I know what he can know about your character!

Name: Character Name | Character Journal
Race: I.e., is your character human or something else? Can he know that?
World Information: Canon Name | Canon Link (wiki or something like it is fine)

Summarize- What kind of place does your character come from? Is it Earth? Another planet? Have any major, world-shaking events happened recently? What kind of creation/god mythos is there?
Personal Information: A link to the character's application or some other informational source would be great, along with a brief summary of the character's life.
Issues to Be Explored: Since Aslan is very much about counseling those who need it, what, in particular, would you like Aslan to pick up about your character and address? Can be positive or negative.
Religious Affiliation: Is your character devout in some shape or form?
Plot: Is there anything your character is doing in the Port that he might know about/be interested in?
Stipulations: Can Aslan mention any of the above information publicly? If so, how much?
Tagging: Are you okay with Aslan tagging your character's posts, whether it be over the NV's or in person?

Just as a note: Aslan, as a rule, will never disclose any personal information about your character to others. He isn't the type to intervene either so even if your character is dastardly and evil, he probably won't do anything about it. Free Will, and all that.

Also, regarding fourth-walling: If you think your character would ICly know about Aslan (i.e., he/she has read the books or seen the films), feel free to recognize him! Since he's from the end of Voyage of the Dawn Treader, though, I'd rather people didn't get too much into the details of the later books.

Name: Momo Hinamori | [personal profile] plum_that_snaps
Race: Human soul (in a universe with reincarnation); also a shinigami (soul reaper/death god). Aslan can know anything!
World Information: Bleach | Shinigami | Soul Society

In the Bleach universe, there is the Living World, Soul Society and Hell (plus a few more weird dimensions with other roles). Good souls that die in the Living World go to live in Soul Society, bad souls go to Hell. (Souls are eventually reincarnated back into the Living World, although it's never explained when this happens. I assume it mirrors the Living World, and upon their death in Soul Society, they gain a new life and body in the Living World).

Personal Information: Character Info

Doesn't know anything about her previous lives or family. Lived as a soul with her best friend Hitsugaya Toushirou and his grandma before becoming a shinigami. She became the lieutenant of a shinigami captain, Aizen Sousuke, who ended up murdering lots of people and betraying Soul Society in an attempt to "stand atop of the world in the heavens and take the place of the absent gods". And stabbing her through the chest twice. She still loves him, and his betrayal devastates her.

Issues to Be Explored: Doesn't know yet about Aizen's betrayal, only that he's died. (He hasn't really, just faked his death, but she doesn't know that either.) She's already repressing the pain of that loss, and viewing her time in the Port as some miraculously well-timed distraction to keep her from having to feel feelings. She trusts easily, though, so Aslan might be able to get her to open up and mourn, which she needs to do.

Religious Affiliation: The Bleach universe seems to have some references to Shinto and Buddhist concepts, but no real clear religion. If there was a common belief system, though, Hinamori would probably be devout. She's idealistic and hopeful and believes the best about the universe and its purpose.

Plot: She recently joined the Teen Titans group.

Stipulations: Pretty much everything can be public. (I'll PM or otherwise discuss it beforehand if something comes up that's not.) Hinamori's not the kind to keep big secrets or schemes.

Tagging: Yes!

Name: Anthony J. Crowley | [livejournal.com profile] vaguelysauntered
Race: He's a demon, but also he's a Fallen angel who did not so much as Fall as Saunter Vaguely Downwards.
World Information: Good Omens | Canon Information

Summarize- It's normal run-of-the-mill Earth, except for the fact that demons and angels, as well as Heaven and Hell, exist. Also the Apocalypse happened and then kind of...unhappened itself.
Personal Information: Here.

Crowley is a demon, as well as the Serpent of Eden who tempted Eve, and he is kind of a failure at his job because he actually kind of secretly likes people. He's best colleagues with an angel named Aziraphale, and together they stopped the Apocalypse from occurring and destroying all the sushi restaurants they ever loved. Also humanity. Humanity is important.
Issues to Be Explored: Crowley is a pretty determined soul- when the Apocalypse happened, he decided not to back down and do what he can to save the situation. However, he has a spark of goodness in him which he hates people mentioning or taking note of, and therefore acts like a jerk with people because of it. Also, he's still very bitter about the Falling business because he never meant to Fall in the first place, and therefore has daddy issues and thinks that God overreacted to the Serpent of Eden thing by cursing name and his eyes to always be yellow snake eyes forevermore. He's sore about it, basically.
Religious Affiliation: ...He's the Serpent of Eden. I don't think you need to think hard about this.
Plot: Well, maybe later he'll open a business in which he gets paid to ruin someone's life for a day or so, depending on how much he's paid. Not in any way that's harmful or kills the person (see, there's that goodness he doesn't like so much), but just trolling. Don't know if Aslan would be interesting, but if he is, go ahead and let them talk about it.
Stipulations: If he does, Crowley will flip all the tables. But he can share things like Crowley stopping the Apocalypse if he wants to?

World Information: Soul Eater | Wiki

Let's go with pseudo-earth. Similar history. Major recent events would be the revival of a demon god of madness/fear.

Gods: creation mythos is unknown. here is a basic rundown of the "gods" of the world, who seem to be incarnations/representations of concepts, (listed ones are Order, Knowledge, Power, Rage, Terror)

Personal Information: App.

Issues to Be Explored: He's bad with emotions and interacting with people, and concerned about his own potential to just go completely insane and start killing people. Which is something that could happen.

Religious Affiliation: Stein wouldn't say that he's a religious person, because he doesn't think of himself as traditionally religious. However, he relies heavily on following a god, both because the idea of living in a world without a higher authority repels him, and because he trusts (and can trust himself to follow) the rules made by a god instead of "selfish rules made by humans".

Plot: Not at the moment.

Stipulations: Feel free to mention anything

Tagging: Fine with it!

[personal profile] fridgetothefire 2012-04-10 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
Name: Anya Lehnsherr | [livejournal.com profile] fridgetothefire
Race: Totally human, but related to mutants.
World Information: a marvel one-shot what-if | her app is the best info on the web for her world, really, it's obscure

Summarize- It's earth, with marvel mutants and superhero stuff, but most of it is still secret in Anya's world.
Personal Information: Here.

Anya is raised by two traumatized holocaust survivors barely out of their teens in rural Soviet Ukraine. When she's four years old, they try to move to the city, but a mob is frightened by her father's - Magneto's - powers and burns down the inn where they're staying, with Anya trapped inside. Magneto saves her life but becomes brutal and paranoid, declaring stealthy war on humanity. After the fire they move to the mountains and live in his forming military/terrorist base, and Anya never meets anyone outside of family and followers. Anya is human, to his disappointment, but her brothers and sisters are not, leaving her unwanted, bitter, and slowly growing more desperate, more despairing, and more cruel.

Issues to Be Explored: Anya is from an early canonpoint, when she is very much still capable of being saved, before she starts to really go off the deep end and start plotting the deaths of her family, but the potential to fall into that path is still very present. Also, although being in port is doing wonders for her ability to hope and be happy, she still has a lot of deep loathing for herself - as an insufficient human - and for basically everyone else. She thinks mutants/superpowered people are all corrupted by power and cruel to those weaker than them, and she thinks humans without powers are all afraid of what they don't understand and likely to hurt anyone threatening or different. Just realizing *anyone* is strong and compassionate and trustworthy would be difficult but incredibly significant for her.

Religious Affiliation: Vaguely Jewish, with a few Romani superstitions, but it's more cultural than spiritual.
Plot: so far she's behaving
Stipulations: He can know this stuff, and talk to her about it, but she's a private person and would feel hurt/betrayed if he told anyone else, so I'd rather he didn't. Also rather he didn't let her or Magneto know about the other being in port, since we have other plans in progress about their eventual reunion.

Name: Lois Lane | [personal profile] presspasskey
Race: Human
World Information: Smallville (DCU) | Canon Information From the teaser of S10 EP1.

Personal Information: Wiki article; SP app

Issues to Be Explored: Lois has some fairly deep-set abandonment issues, thanks to most people in her life giving themselves to duty first. She tends to be nervous about living up to expectations (is too hard on herself in general). She’s also got plenty of hubris to work with, and a lack of sensitivity.
Religious Affiliation: Not particularly religious; arguably lapsed-into-agnosticism.
Plot: She needs to get into trouble more. Hopefully she’ll have some soon. For now: marrying Superman.
Stipulations: If she’s doing a sensitive investigation, she’d hate to have the specifics get discussed where anyone else could hear, but she has a lot of Very Public Plot. Obviously please to not be breaking secret identities, or spoiling her scoop. Text would probably make it clear if it’s a really sensitive issue with her; if so, again, not public. Elsewise all’s fair game.
Tagging: Yes pretty please!

Name: Tavi | [personal profile] student_of_impossibility
Race: Human
World Information: His app for has the best information on Codex Alera.

Summary - Things in the Bermuda Triangle/other mysterious disappearances--all over universe/multiverse--get dropped on a world called Carna. A Roman Legion got lost. They gained Pokémon.
Personal Information: His app.
Issues to Be Explored: Serious feelings of inadequacy/humiliation (not quite self-esteem): both at home and in the Port he is consistently the only one without powers. Possibly he could use guidance in where his compassion and sense of justice will lead him in this place. On the other hand, he has a highly analytical mind, and may need steering away from ruthless pragmatism. He’s a perfectionist and holds himself to impossible standards—and when he makes those, he sets the bar higher, every time.
Family issues: his mother died in childbirth (he thinks; see info), never knew his father’s name, and he suspects (incorrectly) an unsavory past. In the Port there are no political ramifications, so it’s tiny-fractionally easier. Probably the perfectionism and standards are to make up for his perceived inadequacies. His girlfriend isn’t in Port—and they have a kind of spiritual bond, which being far apart for so long will strain.
He doesn’t make friends easily, will unconsciously think how to use anyone, including himself. With that and Kitai not around, he’s lonely. He worries about things he can’t change. Also: very intelligent and competent; when he isn’t feeling inadequate, he can have some serious hubris.
Religious Affiliation: None spiritually. He has a vague concept of what other people mean by a deity—he Does Not Get It.
Plot: Just started with the NPP, probably eventually involved with the Titans
Stipulations: Tavi would like to keep his status as a Cursor (spy) from anyone else, nor has he talked about his homeworld. Certainly he doesn’t want any discussion of Aleran politics (especially as regards Septimus and the Crown’s succession) anywhere remotely near anyone else. However, Aslan is free to discuss it in private with him.

Race: Human
World Information: DC Universe. You know it!

Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: So, like, the Joker is a dangerous lunatic and proud of it. Aslan would sense that something awful, nobody (including Joker) is sure what, happened to him and he just came apart. According to DC canon there IS still light within the Joker's soul, way deep down, but the rest of it is corrupted by madness. Like Batman, he seems to have issues with existential loneliness. He wants to be acknowledged and accepted by the world and be seen as a man of profound artistic genius. He believes that, if he plays his cards right, he will be seen as the tragic hero of his life story and Batman will go down in history as the real villain.
Religious Affiliation: Agnostic. For all his rants about the meaninglessness of life, he does seem to believe that there is something more out there. He also believes, very strongly, that there is some form of afterlife.
Plot: Joker usually doesn't hide it when he's up to craziness. Aslan is free to know about it.
Stipulations: He can publicly mention any of it! Joker might not take it well, though.
Tagging: Totally okay with it.

Name: Dante | [personal profile] in_a_dark_wood
Race: Half-Demon. Aslan can know this.
World Information: Devil May Cry | Canon Information

Dante is from Earth, essentially our Earth, only demons exist. Most humans seem to have forgotten that there were demons, and only a select few are aware they're still around. Once upon a time, the human and demon worlds were enmeshed but Dante's father, Sparda, sealed the demon world away after turning on his own kind. Demons are said to have once been angels, but the precise role of angels in Dante's universe is unclear. They seem to be impassive towards human kind and have not done anything to assist humans against the demons. It may be that they are trying to resurrect Jubileus, the Creator. Speaking of the Creator, the Christian god definitely exists in the DMC universe as a concept and people refer to "God" sometimes. But who God is, exactly, is never explained. It MIGHT be Jubileus. Sort of. If you consider Bayonetta to be set in the same universe. Confused yet?
Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: Dante is made of issues. When he was a child, his home in the port town of Morris Island was burned down by demons looking for him and his twin brother and he still blames himself for the deaths of those people. Following this, his mother relocated him and his brother to a remote cabin. The demons found them there, too, however and killed Dante's mother in front of him and took Vergil away. Dante was hiding and managed to survive. He thought Vergil was dead for a long time but they were reunited as teenagers. Vergil ended up going into the demon world where he was corrupted by the Demon Emperor, Mundus, and Dante ended up having to kill him.
Dante is cagey about his demonic nature and when he was younger he was a ball of rage and self-loathing who was described as "either very selfish or dangerously suicidal". He continues his self-destructive behavior even now. The patina of insouciance doesn't go very deep. He longs for a life he was never meant to have.
Religious Affiliation: Dante says that he and religion do not mix.
Plot: He just got here! But Aslan is always welcome to know what he's up to.
Stipulations: Publicly? No, Dante is pretty secretive about his personal life.

Name: Dillon Cole | [personal profile] orderfromchaos
Race: He's born human-or-at-least-the-child-of-humans, but his soul is the largest piece of a reincarnated star - and somewhere along the line to being crushed into a human-sized shape, that turned into the ability to suspend thermodynamic laws. There are five other pieces of the soul in other kids, and he's connected to them. Three of those other pieces are dead, which hurts him deeply.
World Information: Scorpion Shards | No Good Internet Resources 8C

Summarize - It's basically normal Earth circa the nineties, except the Star Shards are in it being all godly. :/ And they attract a few other super beings from other dimensions; dimensions are separated by an empty interstitial area filled with debris and red sand.
Personal Information: Here's his app!
Issues to Be Explored: Oh shit okay, so. Dillon has massive guilt. He accidentally killed his parents with his powers while they were being warped by a parasite that lived in him and fed on the energy released by the destruction he could cause. The parasite basically made him addicted to it, and he slowly escalated, killed and ruining the minds of thousands of people. He managed to escape the parasite, but not before it tricked him into killing Deanna, the girl he was in love with and one of his soulmate-shards. He tried to atone, fixing what he'd broken (including bringing back the dead - but not his parents, because he felt that would be selfish). Okaya, an ancient evil with a grudge and a manipulative streak, tried to use the shards to take over the world. In the end, he threatened to devour the souls of people Dillon had restored if Dillon didn't help him make the rest of Earth into a buffet - but if Dillon cooperated, he'd open the ways between worlds so Dillon could bring Deanna back to life. Dillon took a third option and managed to defeat him, but the world is still on a collision course thanks to the Shards' ill-guided and overpowered meddling, and Dillon can't figure out how to fix it, because he's most of the problem. 8C

He has a lot to work on.

Religious Affiliation: Catholic! A priest eventually stopped hearing his confessions (that "the hunger" of the parasite made him destroy things, urging Dillon to get medical help) which really sent him off the deep end at the beginning of the first book. He hasn't been in a church since, but he still believes, and believes quite sincerely that he's damned.
Plot: Not yet!
Stipulations: Dillon would rather none of it were public, but he'd be kind of relieved to have someone to talk about it with. Right now I'd OOC prefer it not become public either, but if you have a reason Aslan would tell, talk it over with me, I'll probably go for it.

And then Xehanort was born.

From that point on, things could only get worse.

Given that we both know the relevant plots for the games I think it's okay if I leave this off. Unless you really would like me to summarize BBS.

As for religious matters, while individual worlds may have their own beliefs and whatnot, the general "creation" myth that no one knows is the whole "Princesses of Heart restarted the hearts of the worlds with their light as children during the great Darkness after the Keyblade War" thing. OH WAIT IS THAT SPOILERS I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE

Personal Information: Here. Although I'm pretty sure you already know everything that's there.

Grew up on Destiny Islands, a bunch of headcanon happened, then a bunch of spoilers happened. Some more headcanon happened and he got sick of it all and left... only to be thrust upon MORE HEADCANON. This time he got a keyblade and a brother and was well on the way to really screwing the universe forever.

Then he grew up and decided the universe was unbalanced and the only way to fix it was to become the world's smartest man and solve the ultimate riddle of what really happened after the Keyblade War. And also sloppy makeouts with Kingdom Hearts

Name: Ashitaka | [personal profile] cursedarrows
Race: Human
World Information: Princess Mononoke | Canon Information

Summarize- Ashitaka's people were nearly wiped out generations ago, and only a select few remain in a village in the mountains, where the bloodline is slowly dying out. Ashitaka was one of the few young men -- and the last of the noble family -- remaining, and now he is dead to his clan. Around the mountains, the world is changing and technology is slowly evolving; Ashitaka seems almost archaic even with other Japanese. The land itself is at war; the Emperor is almost a figurehead, determined to live forever, not seeming to care how his country is falling apart around him. He grants pardons even for the crime of killing a god.

In the world near Tatara-Ba, where most of the movie takes place, humans are engaged in a war with the forest gods . . . and are winning, due to their advances in technology. The forest gods and their bloodlines are growing weaker, evolving merely into common animals. Both humans and the forest gods seek revenge -- the anger of which can turn them into demons.

Gods and demons and spirits exist strongly in this world. Gods are generally in the form of beasts too large to be natural, able to speak and sometimes with variants in form like two tails. They are to be honored, respected, though not necessarily to be worshipped. The greatest of them have power over nature; the lesser ones are incredibly strong and intelligent. Demons reek of corruption, and contact with them creates impurity that can decay and destroy the body and the earth. Spirits are creatures who have never been god, demon, or human; they exist as part of nature.
Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: Ashitaka was charged to "see with eyes unclouded by hate." He barely understands what that means. So far he has managed to separate himself from the conflict in SP, which allows him to keep his righteousness, but it is doubtful that he will always maintain that.

Beyond that . . . Ashitaka has suffered a deep loss that he has never explored. He is dead to his clan; he can never return to them, even if he were cured. This happened because of a choice he made to kill a god-turned-demon in order to protect his village. Though the movie never addresses it, there must be a great deal he has left behind, and there is a kind of weight that hangs around him.

Eventually I may seek some help with his arm, but I will probably explore other venues first, as I do not want it to be too easy for him.
Religious Affiliation: Ashitaka very much respects god, demon, or spirit alike. He does not necessarily worship any of them, but it is of utmost importance to him that he give them honor.
Plot: At the moment, no.
Stipulations: Ashitaka would prefer that his privacy be respected, even though I don't think he would be angry if any information slipped out.

Name: Niko Leandros | [personal profile] achillesreborn
Race: Human
World Information: Cal Leandros novels | Canon Information

Summarize- Earth, with a few more mythological creatures. The monsters and mythos are a happy murderous jumble of every legend found worldwide; but those legends are rarely entirely true. After all, what self-respecting werewolf is going to sit down and spill the details of lycanthropy to just anyone? There are vampires, werewolves, Pucks, revenants, and more, all a race apart from humanity and some more or less willing to prey on the helpless human "sheep."

Personal Information: Here.

Niko's very well-read and well-versed in literature: it might have been a while since he's read the books but he will be familiar with Aslan as a character in a book he knows.

Issues to Be Explored: Niko has a lot of mistrust for anyone not his brother; he's been betrayed by those he thought were his family and he's carried the seeds of that hurt and hatred in his heart for a long time.

Niko is deathly afraid of losing his little brother. He says Cal was "the making of him," and views Cal as his purpose in life. With Cal to protect, Niko would have no direction or purpose. The brothers have an active suicide pact; if one goes, the other will follow soon after.

Niko's moral, loyal, and upright despite a neglectful, abusive upbringing. He's steady, solid, trustworthy, and tries to do the right thing. All of this, however, will go right out the window where Cal's involved. Niko will do anything for Cal's sake.

Niko's afraid of being inadequate, not strong enough to protect his brother. He trains relentlessly, pushing himself mercilessly in order to be the best fighter he can possibly be. He needs to protect Cal from the monsters that would kill him...and protect Cal from himself.

Religious Affiliation: Niko makes a passing nod to all religions, though he identifies most closely with the Buddhist traditions and meditations.

Plot: Aside from 'taking care of Cal'? Niko will most likely be taking a job as bounty-hunting. It won't rest completely easily with him, but it's the closest thing to their previous job. (Supernatural private investigators: monsters found, lost items retrieved, infestations of supernatural pests eliminated....)

Stipulations: Can Aslan mention any of the above information publicly? If so, how much? Yup, most of it. Except perhaps the insecurity over his ability to protect Cal and his hatred of his former "family."

Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: Dave to some degree still has self confidence issues. He mostly handles it pretty well. But what's happening at home, he has not handled well at all. His ability to sleep is shot because he keeps recalling the screams of souls dying and space cracking. Thanks to Port bringing him here, Dave also has to consider and work with his brother. They're related despite being universal alternates of each other's sibling (actually dirk is genetically his dad but they avoid talking about it).

Another lesser talked about issue is how he's very used to dying. Seeing himself dead, or preparing to die. It's gotten to the point he just doesn't do more than feel a bitterness towards being unable to stop it.

World Information:She's from Doctor Who, though she's a few years behind.

Summarize- She's from modern earth, but she's been off traveling with the Doctor through time and space. Also this is an earth getting used to aliens.

And more importantly she's from a chunk of time (that is in canon retconned for everyone outside the main cast and is called 'the year that never was') Where the Master took control of the world and killed a tenth of the population on his first day in a reign of terror, and then began to build a military force to take the galaxy, while Martha basically walked the world to spread a story to stop him. It's this huge faith based heroes journey kinda thing.

Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: Martha's lonely and even now she's a bit strained from her year of basically playing big damn hero, and still not sure the plan would've worked because of being yanked off by the core.
Religious Affiliation: Not the most religious though she has a faith in the Doctor that's pretty extreme.

Stipulations: Go crazy, have fun.
Tagging:Have a jolly old time

Name: John Marcone (sort of) | [personal profile] freeholding
Race: Human
World Information: The Dresden Files | Canon Information

Summarize- Modern world with magic, essentially. Magic is a world-wide secret, wizards are a hidden society (sans Dresden), and everything from the fae to vampire courts to fallen angels preys on humanity.
Personal Information: Here. South side boy who gave up his True Name to become a human monster because he's cleaner about it than the alternatives. Hardcore anti-hero who runs Chicago, his one true love.

Issues to Be Explored: The fact that John's role as Chicago's super-neat Mafia Don/Supernaturally-recognized lord is one he picked for himself, and huge parts of himself have been shut away in a box in his head to made it work. Also, separated from Chicago in the Port, his driving purpose in life is gone and he's technically free to do whatever he likes.
Religious Affiliation: Catholic, but the sort of Catholic who commissioned the Shroud of Turin to be stolen for a healing ritual.
Plot: Personal crisis of there is no way back to Chicago what is my new prime directive oh god.
Stipulations: Aslan can, but John might get laconically pissed. Only refrain from outing him as a criminal in public.
Tagging: More than okay!

Name: Sasuke Uchiha | [personal profile] bondsoflove
Race: Human/shinobi.
World Information: Naruto | Narutopedia!

Sasuke comes from a military society similar to earth. It resembles modern Japan in a lot of ways (they have movie theaters, graphic novels, magazines, erotica, TVs, cassette tapes, electricity, running water, etc, etc), but there are a few notable technological differences--the computers they have are very simple and no one uses personal computers, cell phones seem to be absent, mail is sent and received in the form of coded scrolls carried by messenger hawks, and there are no firearms or motorized vehicles.

The canon point I've brought Sasuke from is in the middle of the fourth great ninja world war, where for the first time, the different villages have formed an alliance to fight against a single opposition bent on destroying the planet. Sasuke has his own agenda, however, and isn't really involved in the war.

Regarding deities, there is the Sage of the Six Paths, who is a legendary figure said to have founded the ninja world. The two main familial lines in the series are descended from his sons, the Uchiha and Senju, and the characters regularly interact with personifications of malevolence (although they've become fairly cooperative, even somewhat friendly) in the forms of the tailed beasts.

Mythological elements such as dragons, kirin, phoenixes and the Japanese Creation Myth are referenced in the names of the techniques the characters use. A few shrines, temples and monks have been shown, but whatever deities they worship are not really mentioned. The majority of ninja appear to practice a pseudo shinto/buddhism resembling Japan's most common religion.

Personal Information: Application.
In summary...

In order of time, lack of acknowledgement because of living in Itachi's shadow -> the massacre -> joining team seven and starting to learn that it was safe to be loved again -> Orochimaru's application of the cursed seal in the Forest of Death -> Running into Itachi and having his ass kicked while searching for Naruto -> learning that Naruto had essentially surpassed him in power -> getting his ass kicked by the Sound Four -> The Valley of the End; choosing not to kill Naruto and to beat Itachi his own way -> incapacitating Orochimaru once he was no longer of use, establishing a tiny flicker of self-worth -> fighting and killing Itachi -> learning from Tobi that Itachi had lied -> confirming this information from Danzo and killing him -> fighting with team 7 and clashing with Naruto, sending them to the land of sparkles and shojou, and realizing that Naruto is at equal or better power -> transplanting Itachi's eyes into his head -> hearing Zombie Itachi say "I love you".

The link to his character survey of doom is here.

Issues to Be Explored: Take your pick; the child is a veritable smorgasbord of trauma. Fear of loss, self-loathing, crippling unmet need for validation... fear of loss is probably the biggie right now, followed by identity issues.
Religious Affiliation: Sorta-not-really. I don't know if he prays, but he does spend his whole life trying to appease the ghosts of his dead family, so I think he's at least spiritual, if not religious.
Plot: Right now, he's avoiding his canonmates, working as much as he can, and patrolling as a new teen titan.
Stipulations: Any of it, really. Sasuke might not react very well, but he doesn't react well to a lot of things, so I don't mind.
Tagging: Sure!
