Name: Dillon Cole | orderfromchaos Race: He's born human-or-at-least-the-child-of-humans, but his soul is the largest piece of a reincarnated star - and somewhere along the line to being crushed into a human-sized shape, that turned into the ability to suspend thermodynamic laws. There are five other pieces of the soul in other kids, and he's connected to them. Three of those other pieces are dead, which hurts him deeply. World Information: Scorpion Shards | No Good Internet Resources 8C
Summarize - It's basically normal Earth circa the nineties, except the Star Shards are in it being all godly. :/ And they attract a few other super beings from other dimensions; dimensions are separated by an empty interstitial area filled with debris and red sand. Personal Information:Here's his app! Issues to Be Explored: Oh shit okay, so. Dillon has massive guilt. He accidentally killed his parents with his powers while they were being warped by a parasite that lived in him and fed on the energy released by the destruction he could cause. The parasite basically made him addicted to it, and he slowly escalated, killed and ruining the minds of thousands of people. He managed to escape the parasite, but not before it tricked him into killing Deanna, the girl he was in love with and one of his soulmate-shards. He tried to atone, fixing what he'd broken (including bringing back the dead - but not his parents, because he felt that would be selfish). Okaya, an ancient evil with a grudge and a manipulative streak, tried to use the shards to take over the world. In the end, he threatened to devour the souls of people Dillon had restored if Dillon didn't help him make the rest of Earth into a buffet - but if Dillon cooperated, he'd open the ways between worlds so Dillon could bring Deanna back to life. Dillon took a third option and managed to defeat him, but the world is still on a collision course thanks to the Shards' ill-guided and overpowered meddling, and Dillon can't figure out how to fix it, because he's most of the problem. 8C
He has a lot to work on.
Religious Affiliation: Catholic! A priest eventually stopped hearing his confessions (that "the hunger" of the parasite made him destroy things, urging Dillon to get medical help) which really sent him off the deep end at the beginning of the first book. He hasn't been in a church since, but he still believes, and believes quite sincerely that he's damned. Plot: Not yet! Stipulations: Dillon would rather none of it were public, but he'd be kind of relieved to have someone to talk about it with. Right now I'd OOC prefer it not become public either, but if you have a reason Aslan would tell, talk it over with me, I'll probably go for it. Tagging: YES PLZ and he is allowed to know ALL THE THINGS.
