"I tell no one any story but his own." (take 2)

All right, so.

Since Aslan is basically the equivalent of GOD in his world, that means, aside from being practically omnipotent, he is also omniscient - i.e. there is canonical evidence for him knowing not only about what happens in worlds that aren't his own, but also about people (their names, etc) before he even talks to them. For the sake of the game, this will obviously be toned down in terms of what he can/cannot know about in-game events and people, but just so I'm not stepping on any toes, please fill out the following form so I know what he can know about your character!

Name: Character Name | Character Journal
Race: I.e., is your character human or something else? Can he know that?
World Information: Canon Name | Canon Link (wiki or something like it is fine)

Summarize- What kind of place does your character come from? Is it Earth? Another planet? Have any major, world-shaking events happened recently? What kind of creation/god mythos is there?
Personal Information: A link to the character's application or some other informational source would be great, along with a brief summary of the character's life.
Issues to Be Explored: Since Aslan is very much about counseling those who need it, what, in particular, would you like Aslan to pick up about your character and address? Can be positive or negative.
Religious Affiliation: Is your character devout in some shape or form?
Plot: Is there anything your character is doing in the Port that he might know about/be interested in?
Stipulations: Can Aslan mention any of the above information publicly? If so, how much?
Tagging: Are you okay with Aslan tagging your character's posts, whether it be over the NV's or in person?

Just as a note: Aslan, as a rule, will never disclose any personal information about your character to others. He isn't the type to intervene either so even if your character is dastardly and evil, he probably won't do anything about it. Free Will, and all that.

Also, regarding fourth-walling: If you think your character would ICly know about Aslan (i.e., he/she has read the books or seen the films), feel free to recognize him! Since he's from the end of Voyage of the Dawn Treader, though, I'd rather people didn't get too much into the details of the later books.

Race: Norse god
World Information: Marvel Universe- 616 | Canon Information (http://marvel.wikia.com/Loki_Laufeyson_%28Earth-616%29)

Summarize- Comes from earth. All kinds of pagan deities, demons, devils, etc.

Personal Information: Here. (http://doeswhathewants.livejournal.com/661.html#cutid1)

Adopted son to Odin Allfather, brother of the hero Thor. He's known as the Trickster, god of Chaos and Evil. He was a major supervillain on earth, bringer of Ragnarok in Asgard. Thor broke the Ragnarok cycle. Loki set himself up to die and (when Thor called his spirit back) reincarnate as a far younger version of himself, not tainted by the hate and anger of all his old memories.
Issues to Be Explored: He's trying to take this second chance seriously and be good rather than evil. He desperately wants his brother's approval and trust again.
Religious Affiliation: Norse pantheon
Plot: He's questioning those he considers to be in the same position as he is- formerly evil/villainous but reformed now. Trying to find something of a guide for his own path.
Stipulations: Aslan can mention anything he likes.

Name: Light, alias Snake | [livejournal.com profile] typhlopid
Race: Human with strong telepathic ability.
World Information: 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors | 999 fanwiki

Summarize- Snake's world is a near-future Earth with a somewhat improved level of technology. There are corrupt corporations who (literally) get away with murder, strange coincidences and events influenced by morphogenic fields which allow for telepathy and even brief time travel. However, it is mostly identical to modern-day Earth and it seems to have developed along the same lines culturally and spiritually.

Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: Light (who goes by Snake in the Port) has extreme trust issues and doesn't relate well to anyone except his little sister. He is genius-levels of smart and is not the least bit humble about it which tends to put people off (read: know-it-all of the worst kind) - he probably wants it to. He maintains a calm, arrogant, detached persona that is basically impossible to crack.

This being said, he does demonstrate good faith in humanity and potentials as a leader. He just doesn't get close to people, and doesn't allow himself to see it as a problem, convincing himself that others cannot understand him as a telepath/blind person/genius/survivor of the Nonary Game.

Religious Affiliation: Unknown, but probably atheist or agnostic considering his personality and interest in science.

Light guides himself (and others, in time of trouble) believing that you can get through anything with Faith (in yourself and others), Hope, Love, and Luck.

Plot: Snake has an interest in using his mind-reading abilities to help people, and has at times teamed up with his sister to stop robberies and thefts. However, he tends to dedicate himself to more academic pursuits because he believes his disabilities would make him unwelcome to the police force.

Stipulations: Snake would take pretty much of any of it in stride.

Tagging: Yes please! Snake's NV has no video functionality, FYI.

Name: Godric | [livejournal.com profile] bloodissacred
Race: Vampire, yes
World Information: True Blood

Earth - only vampires and all the bad things exist. there is no evidence of God or angels, but there are churches, etc. A character close to Godric believed in God though. It made his death easier.

Personal Information: Here. (http://bloodissacred.livejournal.com/1354.html#cutid1)

2000 year old vampire Jesus is the easiest explanation. He's never known salvation or kindness. As a human, he was a slave, beaten by his master and turned at the age of sixteen. His Maker was cruel and only tried to stifle him. Eventually Godric killed him and was exiled for around 500 years in which he took to the woods and forests of Northern Europe. He goes crazy from the loneliness and eventually turns a Viking man about to die, who he stalked. They then spend the next near thousand years doing really bad things because they good. At some point, Godric doesn't see the point any more, but after nearly 2000 years of killing and blood and destruction, there isn't much for him. He gives himself up to the Church of Sun to sacrifice himself, only his Childe goes after him, he's saved, but ends up killing himself instead.

Issues to Be Explored: He really wants forgiveness, but thinks he's undeserving of it. He did change his ways, but everything he's done (and it's much darker in the books), he thinks he can't be redeemed. Before he dies, he has a conversation about God. He asks Sookie how she thinks God will punish him. She says God doesn't punish, he forgives, and he tells her that he doesn't deserve it, but he hopes for it.

Pretty much I took him right at the point where the Sun takes him. So he never had an after life. He's given up on being redeemed here in the Port and is still suicidal, for the most part. He knows it's pointless here. So he's just trying to find some good, only living with Eric isn't helping.

Religious Affiliation: He believes now, but he's not exactly devout.
Plot: Eric is selling vampire blood and Godric is trying to stop it, to no avail.
Stipulations: He can't mention the blood thing since not many people know about it and Lord only knows what would happen to Eric.
Tagging: Yup.

Name: The Master, but he'll probably go by several aliases while in Siren's Port | [livejournal.com profile] pawnofrassilon
Race: Time Lord masquerading as a human (when he can). Aslan is welcome to pick up on his species characteristics, but unless he's already been informed as to what a Time Lord is I'd prefer he not really know much about them yet
World Information: Doctor Who | Canon Information

He's originally from Gallifrey but hasn't been there in quite some time seeing as how the Doctor disappeared it :/ This incarnation of the Master has pretty much spent all his time stranded on modern-day Earth, specifically the greater London area. A couple of years before his time point he hypnotized the UK into voting him Prime Minister and then took over the world with the help of some scary murderballs. He held it for a year but there's no record of it because the Doctor and company managed to temporally reverse the entire thing. But a few, including the Master, still remember it.

His most recent exploits include turning everyone on Earth into copies of himself for roughly a day, and then almost asploding the universe by attempting to bring the Time Lords and Gallifrey back. Unfortunately there was no memory wipe this time for the Earthlings but by now they've finally begun to realize there are aliens out there in the universe. Select military and government groups know about the Doctor and the Master-- who they are, what they are, what they've done and are capable of doing.

Personal Information: Here is more than you ever wanted to know.

Born and raised and driven mad on Gallifrey, became renegade as soon as he was able to leave, clashed with the Doctor a zillion times while trying to rule the universe and/or make the Doctor's life miserable. Died and came back a bunch, ran away from his duties during the Great Time War, lived in hiding as a human for decades, was revived by the Doctor and Martha Jones by accident, then proceeded to steal the TARDIS and go back to Earth to start his empire. Evil scheme was temporally reversed, fatally shot by his wife, resurrected a couple of years later by his faithful followers, turned into an eternally dying wretch with superpowers due to his ex-wife's interference. Hung out in junkyards eating everything and everyone he could to stay alive, kidnapped by some weirdo who wanted him to help fix a medical device. Instead, used that medical device to turn all humanity into copies of himself. Discovered that he could bring back the Time Lords, realized he'd been played when he did, took his revenge on the leader, and accidentally got sucked back into the Time War with them... or did he?

Issues to Be Explored: The drums would be a big, obvious one. Also his twisted connection with the Doctor, his fear of dying permanently, his obsession with control.
Religious Affiliation: He doesn't believe in a god, other than himself, LOL.
Plot: Nothing firmly in the works yet, but I expect to have him working entirely in his own self-interest and playing factions against each other if he can.
Stipulations: I'd prefer he didn't unless it's related to a larger plot we work out.

Race: Android and yes, he can. He can also know that Mary's soul is in there.
World Information: Xenosaga | Canon Information (Everything ever is there. Except, some pages still need to be added. Everything important is there, how about that?)

Summarize- She's from the future, put simply. Approximately 5266 years after current SP game date. Earth is long since gone known as Lost Jerusalem by that time, and the Galaxy Federation it the primary power in the universe. By now, androids like KOS-MOS are a rarity, so are cyborgs since the Life-Recycling Act was repealed in T.C. 4754, and Realian's are common (man-made lifeforms with human rights). The biggest events up to her canon point have been the destruction of Old Miltia, which created the Omega System, and Gnosis Terrorism has taken a huge turn. Gnosis turn out to be Rejecting Wills and Mary has awoken (mostly). And, in the Xenosaga universe, God is U-DO and U-Do is God. And he dwells in the Higher Domain of the universe (ours being the Lower Domain). He watches through the two Abel's: Abels Ark and Abel.
Personal Information: Here.

KOS-MOS is only about two/three years old, in reality but her knowledge covers almost every topic in her time. She's a combat android built to annihilate the Gnosis but she also exists to bring Mary Magdalene back to reset the universe.
Issues to Be Explored: He's welcome to pick up things about Mary like her concern for her friends (Yeshua/chaos especially), the wellbeing of the universe and that sort of thing.
Religious Affiliation: Nope, not really. Despite who she is/half is.
Plot: KOS-MOS is going out at night and killing Darkness monsters.
Stipulations: Nothing about Mary, since she's supposed to be kind of dead in this era. Okay, very dead. And apparently, a whore. Which she isn't.

Race: Vampire, and feel free to know it but Damon's trying to keep it quiet here.
World Information: The Vampire Diaries | Canon Information

Damon is from Mystic Falls, Virginia in the year 2010, the place where he lived in the late 1800s before being turned into a vampire. It's a regular realm/time period for Earth, however Vampires, werewolves, witches and other supernatural beings are a very real part of life. They keep hidden for the most part and keep to themselves, but the town he's from knows all about these monsters that go bump in the night.
Personal Information: Here.

Damon was turned into a Vampire in 1864 when he was 21 years old. He turned for the love of a vampire, Katherine. He thought she was left to starve and mummify under a witch's enchantment in 1864, and he vowed to get her out when he could. When he finally got her out over 150 years later, she blindsided him by saying she loved his brother all along and not him.
Issues to Be Explored: Hahaha so many. Damon claims to have no humanity, but in reality he's very feeling but will not admit it to those around him. Damon has a tendency to fall in love with people his brother falls in love with; he was in love with Katherine in the 1860s and now he's in love with Elena (Katherine's Doppelganger) who is his brother's current girlfriend. Because his brother technically turned him into a vampire, Damon blames him for everything and has spent all of this time tormenting his brother (deep down he does love him though). There's also a wealth of daddy issues to be dealt with...
Religious Affiliation: No. He was brought up a staunch Roman Catholic, however.
Plot: Just arrived so there isn't much going on yet. He's adjusting.
Stipulations: Please don't mention he's a vampire publicly until he's said it himself. Otherwise it's all fair game.
Tagging: Go for it~!

Name: Castiel | [personal profile] ofthursday
Race: Angel, and yes, totally fine.
World Information: Supernatural | Canon Information

Castiel comes from what would otherwise be 'normal' Earth, but it's also secretly full of supernatural everything. Angels, demons, ghosts, vampires, shtriga, you name it. Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory all exist. God exists but is absent. You know all this stuff I think. >.>
Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: Castiel's angelic heritage with his more human emotions and the issue of free will are all in conflict with each other, and his time at the Port so far has been so tumultuous his mental state is terrible. He feels isolated and trapped and completely lost as to what he's supposed to be doing in either the small or large pictures.
Religious Affiliation: He's an angel! But he no longer has any sort of faith in God, even though he knows He exists. It's not a matter of belief, it's of faith.
Plot: He's currently supplying Sam with angel blood in lieu of demon blood, which it's fine for Aslan to pick up on.
Stipulations: Everything fine except the angel blood thing; that's under wraps for the most part unless the other person he's talking to already knows.

Name: Hitsugaya Toushirou | [personal profile] icy_heavens
Race: Shinigami (death god). Also a deceased soul, was human in life. Totally a-okay to know all this.
World Information: Bleach | Canon Information

Soul Society is somewhat of an equivalent to Heaven, so it's a land of the dead for those that didn't earn damnation in life. Souls that are powerful enough can become shinigami, and particularly powerful ones can be around for thousands of years due to the slowed aging process that powerful reiatsu grants.

Personal Information: Here.

Nothing is known about his life as a living person, but he spent at least a couple of decades as a Rukongai soul before becoming a shinigami, taken care of by an old woman he considers his grandmother and loves dearly. He went to the Academy after he found out his power was leaking out in his sleep and harming her. He and the other shinigami are dealing with the results of Aizen's betrayal and are involved in a war against him. Hitsugaya has lead an advance guard in the Living World and has been in combat with the third-ranked Espada, but what he really wants is to kill Aizen himself for emotionally demolishing Hinamori.

Issues to Be Explored: With Aizen not around currently, the issue of vengeance isn't likely to come up, but it's been over a year now since Hitsugaya has seen Hinamori, and that really bothers him. He has friends here, but some part of him is still lonely. Because she can't be replaced.

Religious Affiliation: Not a religious affiliation per se, but a Spirit King exists in a dimension beyond Soul Society, and shinigami basically work under him. Those souls that come to Soul Society eventually reincarnate back into the Living World.

Plot: Nope, he hasn't got any big plotty things going on at the moment.

Stipulations: He'd really rather keep the fact that he's lonely without Hinamori away from the general public. Other than that, go nuts.

Tagging: Jesus-Lion is always welcome!

While gods originally live in the Celestial Plains, Nippon it's a land where Gods still roam around. They are invisible for humans though, and for someone like Amaterasu to be noticed, she needs a Celestial Envoy that makes others believe in her. Recently, the greatest evil, Yami was unleashed, but she took care of it so it's good now...

Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: I don't think she's got issues, well not her own. She might be probably a little frustrated that she cannot leave and she is not as powerful as she should be in the port, but that's pretty much it for now.
Religious Affiliation: She's a shinto goddess herself :3
Plot: I'd love it if they got to know each other more, maybe teaming up for something if things go wrong. Maybe help Aslan loosen up a bit, he seems so serious from her point of view, but then again she's a riot.
Stipulations: Everything ever.

Name: the House | [personal profile] where_the_hearth_is (formerly [livejournal.com profile] icanhashearth
Race: It's an AI! It's kind of hideous complex and it's a House right now, but that's really just hardware, even though it's a major part of the House's identity; it's possible in Succession for AI minds to jump into new hardware.
World Information: The Risen Empire and The Killing of Worlds by Scott Westerfeld, aka the Succession Duology.

Okay, so it's set about ~5000 years in the future. Humanity has spread all through the galaxy. There are no aliens, but surgically and/or cybertronically modified people are common. Genetics manipulation used to be common, but it nearly destroyed the species by cutting out needed diversity, so now it's highly regulated. There are four main factions that are currently at peace, all of which have different methods of extending the lives of the rich more-or-less forever. The House is from The Risen Empire, which uses a creature called the Lazarus Symbiant; it attaches to fresh, whole corpses and revives them, but at the cost of a very passive, minimalist emotional existence. The Risen Dead are only a small fraction of the population; it's a right granted at the discretion of the Emperor, who is worshipped as God.

He was once a scientist searching for a cure to his little sister's wasting disease when he discovered the symbiant. In his animal tests (on cats) the symbiant could not attach to a living host, only a freshly killed one, so before risking his sister's life, the Emperor tested on himself. In later liturgy, this is the Holy Suicide, that beat the Old Enemy Death. Nothing is quite directly cribbed from Christianity, but there are plenty of similar emotional resonances and I doubt that was on accident in the early years, as he used his discovery to gain influence and build the Empire.

The other important faction is the Rix. Sometime in the past, but after humanity started colonizing other planets, the...internet of Earth, basically, became self-conscious. It named itself 'Amazon' and it was this massive, superbrilliant newborn creature heaving itself alone into the universe. It was kind of messy and violent. This kind of planetary super-AI is called a Rixmind, and some people believed that humanity had finally found it's purpose: being the substrate for these infinitely superior beings, and gentling their passage into existence. Rix commandos are badass lady cyborgs that are grown in batches and fly around the galaxy performing this mission. The Empire describes them as 'fanatics', and they certainly have conviction, but that's a biased description of them. MOST people in Rix-dominated space aren't commandos, and the Rixminds of their planets are mostly unconcerned with the people living in them, and more than you care about the microbes living in your intestines. They might make traffic patterns more efficient. Anyway.

The Rix and the Risen Empire have been enemies for a long, long time. Rix people worship Rixminds, Imperials (devout ones, anyway) worship the Emperor. They've had a few wars and another is coming, but the House doesn't know that yet. In order to prevent any of the planets in the Empire from developing into Rixminds, even though their networks are complex enough, there are software shunts that prevent it (/technobabble). The Rix think this is barbaric/blasphemous/evil. The House is technically larger and smarter than the legal limit on AIs in the Empire, but it's out of the way and it has immunity because it's owner is a senator, so no one bothers. It actually has the potential to evolve into the Rixmind of it's planet, but it doesn't know that yet either.

Personal Information: Deets on the House.

Issues to Be Explored: The House has some abandonment issues, but it's mostly okay with those, and having friends makes it better. Much more subtly, the House has a lot of internalized machinaphobia from living in the Risen Empire. With perfect doublethink, it knows that it's a person, and thinks it's not a person at all at the same time. Which isn't urgent, but kind of sad, and Aslan might want to take a stab at untangling it.
Religious Affiliation: Nope. It knows about Imperial religion but it doesn't much care. It's owner is a Secularist (capitalized because it's a political party), who does not believe in the perfection of the Emperor, and the House is loyal to her.
Plot: It gave Lucifer a bath. Feel free to send a gift basket.
Stipulations: I'd rather he didn't mention that the House's AI is as powerful as it is, in part because the House itself is from a canon point where it's never really stretched those wings yet.

World Information: Hei | Canon Information (NOTE: Hei is not his real name; canon never reveals what it actually is. He does identify with "Hei" now, though.)

Hei comes from a present-day Earth that has had a series of catastrophic and unexplained events happen ten years prior to the series' beginning. The sky disappeared and was replaced by "fake" stars; each of these stars is tied to a person who used to be human, but was entered into a contract that gave them a superhuman power in exchange for losing their humanity. There are also two chaotic and dangerous areas called Hell's Gate and Heaven's Gate; Heaven' Gate is destroyed some time prior to the series' start, as well.
Personal Information: Here.
Issues to Be Explored:
Buttloads of self-loathing! He firmly identifies as the thing he despises the most, ie. a lying, manipulative, cold-blooded contract killer. It's all he knows, and he literally cannot imagine ever living a normal life, or even living a life as himself, and not an assumed persona. He lies constantly.
There are also sister issues (my sister is a superpowered sociopath/how can I hate my sister?!/how could I fail to save her/etc.), as well as quite a bunch of other people he failed to keep alive, and m a j o r issues with beying betrayed by teammates/close associates.
Religious Affiliation: Atheist, as per canon.
Plot: Mmm probably not right now.

Name: Celes Chere | [personal profile] runebladeknight
Race: She's human, artificially infused with the essense of an Esper.
World Information: Final Fantasy VI

Her world is somewhat typical of what you'd think of medieval Europe, though with some technology that is more suitable for the late 1800's and early 1900's. Like steam power and such. Trains and airships exist, but the only long-distance communication would be by carrier pigeon.

Magic has recently been reawakened into the world, and the Empire has been using it to try and subjugate the people. As of the point of Celes being Pulled, tampering with ancient magic is altering the very face of the planet.

Personal Information: Here.

Whether she was born naturally or was a test-tube baby has never been stated. Her genetics were altered at a young age, allowing her the ability to use and learn magic. She grew up groomed to be an elite soldier and leader for a state bent on world conquest. Growing disillusioned with their methods and goals, she spoke out against them and wound up on the execution block. She was saved by a member of the primary resistance group, then joined it herself, using her knowledge of the Empire to assist their efforts.

Issues to Be Explored: She's not sure she even has a world to go back to, for one thing; as far as she knows, it's being destroyed at the very second she was Pulled. So she's pretty sure all of her friends are dead, too. Hello, depression. There's some lingering self-hatred, too; she openly acknowledges she's done evil things so that people don't get some fool idea that she's really a nice person. She expects people to turn away from her when they hear that. And she feels like she deserves it.

Religious Affiliation: She can't be said to be religious, but she's completely open to the idea of gods existing.

Plot: Not that I'm aware of, though he might know that she put a stop to the creator of the cyborgs that recently terrorized the city. (Arrested him, not killed him. This has not been publicized, but it happened.)
Stipulations: Just the arrest thing ought to be under wraps for now. Everything else is fair game.

Tagging: Oh, absolutely. She needs Jesus-lion in her life.

Name: Jade Harley | [personal profile] greenshift
Race: She's human! ...mostly? She wasn't actually born, she was created by ectobiology which makes about as much sense as you'd expect. She's also the Witch of Space in her game session, which means she has an association with literal space (she helps create a new universe with her own hands) and also spatial manipulation (a power she hasn't gained yet at her canon point).
World Information: Homestuck | I am so sorry

The planet is earth, more or less the same, except it has something called a First Guardian, which in this case was actually Jade's dog that she grew up with; an unfortunate propensity for being struck by meteors (first bearing ectobabies that include Jade, her friends, and their respective guardians; then just bearing death); a Green Sun at the center of everything; other universes and timelines (the latter mostly being doomed); an alien race from a now-destroyed universe who created the kids' universe IM'ing the kids on a regular basis;, and just plain shenanigans. Also a game that allows people, should they win, to create new universes! Because why not, I guess.

Personal Information: Her app!

She grew up on a deserted island with her god dog and grandpa till he died in a freak accident when she was a kid, after which she grew up on a deserted island with her god dog and stuffed grandpa. She made friends - best friends - on the internet, and when she's thirteen, the world gets bombarded with meteors and is destroyed, except for she and her friends who escape through this game called sburb and get caught up in an ancient, perpetual battle between light and darkness over a place called Skaia.

Issues to Be Explored: She's really optimistic and bright and cheerful and sweet a lot of the time! She says canonly that she likes being nice when she can because it's - well, a nice thing to do. Thhhat is not to say though that her life's been easy, considering she basically spent a big chunk of her life mostly alone except for her dog companion, who is - not dead, but lost to her at her point in canon. Sburb's put everyone under a lot of stress, and she's had to see her friends' guardians die and, in some cases, be the bearer of bad news there. John and Dave and Rose have all died at least once by her canon point (Dave by her own hands on accident), and experienced the death of her dreamself by a moon to the face. She's also being stalked by their Big Bad as she tries to handle/plan out the big scheme that will hopefully save them all...or most of them...since Dave and Rose are on a suicide mission |D; Sburb is kids and fun!

THAT SAID she's not super like...brooding about this all secretly every day or everything, she's genuinely hoping that things will turn out alright - and is hearing things to that effect from castmates from further canon points - so her bright demeanor is fairly legit.

tl;dr homestuck kids' lives are kind of horror shows but she's dealing fairly well considering and is genuinely cheerful.
Religious Affiliation: hmm, I'll go with a no since it's not addressed in canon.
Plot: nnnnot really, no.
Stipulations: Ummmm I'll say that stuff directly impacting other characters is a no (unless they're okay with it??), but Jade's not super bothered about someone talking about her childhood/role in the game/etc
Tagging: Are you okay with Aslan tagging your character's posts, whether it be over the NV's or in person? yep!

Race: Human
World Information: Doctor who | Canon Information

Summarize: Amy comes from Earth, except she has been swept up by an alien of sorts (called the Doctor) to go travelling across time and space. That's the biggest major event in her life. Recently, before she was pulled into the Port, she "died" but was kept alive in The Pandorica. Also, their universe is collapsing due to these cracks in time that were caused an explosion of the Doctor's time machine (the TARDIS). So much space nonsense. Amy's dreams are actually what help reboot the universe, but she hasn't experienced that yet.

Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: She definitely has abandonment and trust issues brought on by her childhood, so he's welcome to tap into those any time.
Religious Affiliation: None.
Plot: Not really, just being a Greeter and getting into trouble adventures whenever she can. Her dormant ability has to do with her dreams affecting reality, so that can often stir up trouble.
Stipulations: She might get embarrassed or nervous if he shares some of her past, but he's free to for the most part.

Name: Nill | [livejournal.com profile] reassures
Race: Descendant of a genetically modified human
World Information: DOGS: Bullets & Carnage | Canon Information

Nill comes from a dystopian world set in an undefined time in the Earth's future, after a tragedy of some kind brought down the "golden age of technology". The world essentially ended, and then restarted; but most people live underground, and only the really wealthy seem to be able to live in a place that you can see the sky. Her world has three levels; above ground, the underground, and then even further than that, another underground that is rarely spoken of. It's a place where human experimentation occurs, and most ordinary people probably don't really know about. If you want to get by at all in Nill's world, then you either become an informant, a member of the mob, a hitman, or if you're really unlucky, all of the above. There are churches in her world, but no one really talks about religion. Everyone acts as if god either doesn't exist, or has simply stopped paying attention to their world.

Personal Information: Here.
Nill spent the better part of her life as a sex slave; a caged bird without a voice. Though she made many escape attempts, she never succeeded until she was fourteen-years-old. And even then, she was rescued by a man named Haine. After several unfortunate events that led to the death of the man that owned her, someone calling themselves her "husband", Haine brought Nill to the church run by Bishop, where she stayed for the next year or so. Then Nill was pulled to a completely different world, where her memories were replaced by a completely different life in which she never met Haine and managed to escape by herself. More information is in her app.

Issues to Be Explored: One of Nill's main problems is that she views herself as incapable of helping people when they need it. She's been around fighters for a long time now, and though she tries her hardest, she can't match up to the strength they have. Another problem is her will to live. Over the years, between her mind-reading being a constant that she still has difficulty controlling, and watching so many people die and leave and losing the reasons that she held onto hope, she's become very tired. She doesn't want to die, but she thinks that the dead have it easy, and that living people are the ones who have it the hardest. Right now she just tries her best to be there for the people that need her, and the rest of the time she just goes through the motions.
Religious Affiliation: Nill doesn't really believe in God. She thinks that if he exists, that he's very cruel, and she can't understand why he'd let the worlds continue on as they are. She tries her best to believe in Heaven, because it's too sad to think that people are just gone when they die, but even that she has difficulty believing in on most days.
Plot: Nothing at the moment, no.
Stipulations: None!
Tagging: Totally okay with it.

Preeeeeetty much he's a time traveling alien who has, at one point, faced off against the Devil himself and, in the end, cast his body into a black hole and made it possible for Rose to do the same with his mind. Other than that, every conceivable creation myth exists as well as every possible religion.
Personal Information: Here.

Time travelling alien who grew up in a rather structured and droll world, ended up fighting in a giant Time War against the Daleks (pepper pots with plungers and whisks as weapons. Oh, and an eye stalk) and, in the end, destroyed his home planet and his people by placing Gallifrey in a giant time lock. Other than that he's been just about everywhere and everywhen and likes saving the world. A lot.

Issues to Be Explored: Hero-type, runs a lot, referred to at some points as the "Lonely God" or the "Oncoming Storm", has a bit of a control complex (aka, he's from right when he's decided that the laws of time and the universe are his to control). He's also rather lonely, terrified of the predicted four knocks that will lead to his death, and has an extreme soft spot for Rose Tyler.
Religious Affiliation: He's met gods and demi-gods and saved the world from Anubis before but more often than not they're aliens that humans have mistaken for deities. Even in the case of the Beast or "Satan" he refused to believe he was the real deal, from before time and before the universe. He doesn't really believe in any sort of religion. He believes in science and facts.
Plot: Aaaaaaas of right now not much other than figuring things out and observing people.
Stipulations: OH YES. FEEL FREE TO MENTION ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING 8D

Summarize- Everything Cloud-mun and Angeal-mun said :U

But in case it helps, there's some ancient literature speaking about a goddess floating around-- and Genesis seems to be attached to it. You can read more about LOVELESS over here

Personal Information: Here.

Basically, Genesis is the result of a failed experiment let alone to live. While he was able to follow his passions successfully, knowledge of his origins stopped him in his tracks. Paired with the degradation that took over his body, he went mad and wanted to destroy everything for a time. After being defeated by his best friend's student, though, he comes back to his senses.

It is unsure if he will still pursue his dream of being a hero.

Issues to Be Explored: Oh man, Genesis is kind of a bundle of issues, but he keeps them all masked out with his current lifestyle. He sometimes wonders what it is to pursue his want to become a hero... or considers what the Goddess was trying to tell him before she allowed him to live.

Religious Affiliation: Genesis is quietly devoted to his goddess, the one mentioned in LOVELESS.
Plot: Nothing in particular
Stipulations: Hmm, not sure O: But it would be nice to let me know if Aslan will say anything about Genesis in public.
Tagging: Yes, very okay!

Modern day Earth. The only exemption is Academy City which is thirty years ahead of its time. Magic and psychic powers exist along with the possibility of deities from different religions. Supernatural beings such as Angels had made appearances while others like Vampires and Dragons are said to exist but haven't shown up yet.

Here's an awesome relationship chart that covers everybody from the first 21 volumes.

Personal Information: History | Application.

Here's my own permission post.

Issues to Be Explored: His biggest issue is that he is a martyr. He will selflessly risk his life for anyone that needs help even people that were previously trying to kill him. Unless the person is directly involved with the issue or practically force their help on him, he won't allow others to help because he feels it's not right for them to carry that burden. He's the type that would carry everyone's burdens no matter how impractical or impossible.

Religious Affiliation: Before he had his memories wiped, it was strongly implied he was an atheist. Since then he has encountered Archangel Gabriel twice and fought off numerous magicians that demonstrated magic. He doesn't follow any sort of religion, but he wouldn't dismiss the existence of other divine beings.

Plot: Not anything at the time of this writing.

Stipulations: Touma doesn't view his own accomplishments as anything amazing and is satisfied with the knowledge that everybody was fine after whatever ordeal they had to face was finished. He probably won't be too happy about his endeavors being passed around or discussed. He would be very appreciative of his silence especially on the subject of his memory loss.

Personal Information: Here. And also the Wiki page for French History, if you're so inclined.

Issues to Be Explored: Mostly his relationship with God and the grudges he's been holding over the years would be the main thing. Past that? Life, immortality, mortality, why bad things have to happen to good people, his role as an eternal servant to his people, etc.
Religious Affiliation: Roman Catholic, but he's fallen from the faith in recent years, after WWII. He still goes to church on Christmas and Easter and the like, just, not much more than that. Might want to get on him about that.
Plot: France is currently attempting to switch jobs in secret, basically trying to become the Port's first Newcomer artist. I can give you more details if it's something you want to bring up.

Race: He's a human/saiyan hybrid. Knowing this is totally okay.
World Information: Dragonball Z

It's Earth, but vastly different geography to ours, and bipedal talking animals exist, as do dinosaurs. And a dragon that grants a wish if you gather seven magical Dragonballs together. The creation story basically depends upon many "Kais" creating and protecting things, usually dividing the universe into quadrants based on the main compass points.

Most recently? There have been a pair of killer cyborgs running around, that subsequently got eaten by a biomechanical one who's challenging the best warriors on the planet to a fighting tournament before destroying the world.

Personal Information: Here.

Gohan used to be a really helpless and terrified kid, until the Saiyan invasion of Earth -- he had to suck it up and learn to fight. Many of his friends died in the fight, so he traveled to another planet with the survivors to use the Dragonballs to wish them back to life. Fought a self-styled universal conqueror there, and that world got destroyed, though they at least got their friends back to life.

Later, he trained with his father and Piccolo for a cyborg threat that they were warned about from a time-traveller. Things wound up even worse than that, and he needed more training with his father before the final battle could come.

Issues to Be Explored: He's got a few lingering self-esteem issues, and sometimes needs someone to boost him up a little. The kid is too tough on himself. He also worries about his Shadow at times, because it's that darker, more violent part of him he'd rather didn't exist. He's not sure if even just having that in him, regardless of whether he acts on it, makes him a bad person or not.

Religious Affiliation: Can't really say I'd call him religious, but he does interact with characters that are technically gods.

Plot: He's not wrapped up in anything plotty right now.

Stipulations: Anytime Aslan sees it appropriate to mention something, he can.

Summarize- What kind of place does your character come from? Is it Earth? Another planet? Have any major, world-shaking events happened recently? What kind of creation/god mythos is there? He comes from modern day Earth with all of the religion and myths you'd find today.
Personal Information: Here

Johnny grew up in the 15th century and became a knight captain but he got wounded in a battle and would have died but Belial, a prince of Hell saved him and turned him into a pure blood vampire due to being in love with Johnny.

Issues to Be Explored: Johnny struggles with the thought that he's a monster and while his experience with Jacob of the Lost fandom put doubt into his mind that he might not actually be a monster, he never fully accepted that thought.

More than anything he wants to be normal and receive salvation.

Religious Affiliation: He respects, believes in, and loves God but thoroughly believes he doesn't deserve to walk in God's light.

Plot: Johnny's in love with the demon Crowley (Good Omens) and works at the bar purgatory? Nothing overtly interesting.

Race: Human soul (in a universe with reincarnation); also a shinigami (soul reaper/death god). Aslan can know anything!
World Information: Bleach | Shinigami | Soul Society

In the Bleach universe, there is the Living World, Soul Society and Hell (plus a few more weird dimensions with other roles). Good souls that die in the Living World go to live in Soul Society, bad souls go to Hell. (Souls are eventually reincarnated back into the Living World, although it's never explained when this happens. I assume it mirrors the Living World, and upon their death in Soul Society, they gain a new life and body in the Living World).

Personal Information: Character Info

Doesn't know anything about her previous lives or family. Lived as a soul with her best friend Hitsugaya Toushirou and his grandma before becoming a shinigami. She became the lieutenant of a shinigami captain, Aizen Sousuke, who ended up murdering lots of people and betraying Soul Society in an attempt to "stand atop of the world in the heavens and take the place of the absent gods". And stabbing her through the chest twice. She still loves him, and his betrayal devastates her.

Issues to Be Explored: Doesn't know yet about Aizen's betrayal, only that he's died. (He hasn't really, just faked his death, but she doesn't know that either.) She's already repressing the pain of that loss, and viewing her time in the Port as some miraculously well-timed distraction to keep her from having to feel feelings. She trusts easily, though, so Aslan might be able to get her to open up and mourn, which she needs to do.

Religious Affiliation: The Bleach universe seems to have some references to Shinto and Buddhist concepts, but no real clear religion. If there was a common belief system, though, Hinamori would probably be devout. She's idealistic and hopeful and believes the best about the universe and its purpose.

Plot: She recently joined the Teen Titans group.

Stipulations: Pretty much everything can be public. (I'll PM or otherwise discuss it beforehand if something comes up that's not.) Hinamori's not the kind to keep big secrets or schemes.

Race: He's a demon, but also he's a Fallen angel who did not so much as Fall as Saunter Vaguely Downwards.
World Information: Good Omens | Canon Information

Summarize- It's normal run-of-the-mill Earth, except for the fact that demons and angels, as well as Heaven and Hell, exist. Also the Apocalypse happened and then kind of...unhappened itself.
Personal Information: Here.

Crowley is a demon, as well as the Serpent of Eden who tempted Eve, and he is kind of a failure at his job because he actually kind of secretly likes people. He's best colleagues with an angel named Aziraphale, and together they stopped the Apocalypse from occurring and destroying all the sushi restaurants they ever loved. Also humanity. Humanity is important.
Issues to Be Explored: Crowley is a pretty determined soul- when the Apocalypse happened, he decided not to back down and do what he can to save the situation. However, he has a spark of goodness in him which he hates people mentioning or taking note of, and therefore acts like a jerk with people because of it. Also, he's still very bitter about the Falling business because he never meant to Fall in the first place, and therefore has daddy issues and thinks that God overreacted to the Serpent of Eden thing by cursing name and his eyes to always be yellow snake eyes forevermore. He's sore about it, basically.
Religious Affiliation: ...He's the Serpent of Eden. I don't think you need to think hard about this.
Plot: Well, maybe later he'll open a business in which he gets paid to ruin someone's life for a day or so, depending on how much he's paid. Not in any way that's harmful or kills the person (see, there's that goodness he doesn't like so much), but just trolling. Don't know if Aslan would be interesting, but if he is, go ahead and let them talk about it.
Stipulations: If he does, Crowley will flip all the tables. But he can share things like Crowley stopping the Apocalypse if he wants to?

Let's go with pseudo-earth. Similar history. Major recent events would be the revival of a demon god of madness/fear.

Gods: creation mythos is unknown. here is a basic rundown of the "gods" of the world, who seem to be incarnations/representations of concepts, (listed ones are Order, Knowledge, Power, Rage, Terror)

Personal Information: App.

Issues to Be Explored: He's bad with emotions and interacting with people, and concerned about his own potential to just go completely insane and start killing people. Which is something that could happen.

Religious Affiliation: Stein wouldn't say that he's a religious person, because he doesn't think of himself as traditionally religious. However, he relies heavily on following a god, both because the idea of living in a world without a higher authority repels him, and because he trusts (and can trust himself to follow) the rules made by a god instead of "selfish rules made by humans".

Plot: Not at the moment.

Stipulations: Feel free to mention anything
