Summarize- Earth but with magical girls! Nobody sees these girls fight, since when they typically do they're entering a different plane of reality entirely to fight their enemies - witches. magical girls are super strong, and Homura here has the ability to manipulate time!
Homura was once super shy, nervous, stuttering and sickly. She didn't have many friends, so when she finally makes one she kind of clings to her for support and validation. Homura now, after living through several timelines and watching her friends die and even being forced to end their lives, is standoffish, slightly cold and keeps others at a distance. Better to do that than to get attached, ok? Issues to Be Explored: Hoooo boy. Homura is a very lonely girl, with few friends and seeing as she's had to watch them die/kill some of them at some point, she's a little hesitant to let someone close. Not to mention she's not exactly human anymore, something not revealed to her until after the fact, and while she's dealt with it on the surface that's something that requires a lot of time to actually deal with.
