COMPLETED QUESTS

QUEST #1 (February 2015) ★★ COMPLETE
- Team Quest with Gilgamesh ([personal profile] babbylon)
- Given by Waver Velvet ([personal profile] gordianknots)
- Quest Goals: "While Waver has his sights on a particular location to re-open the Barrel, he knows that having multiple spots as a contingency plan is always a wise idea. To this end, he is in need of people to scout the Drabwurld in order to determine other ideal places for his coffee operation. The only limit is that any area inside of Glashu is out of the question."
- Success Metric: "Write a 3k log of your character’s travels to various places on the map as they examine where the Barrel could consider putting down roots. Please feel free to do this as a prose log, or tag it all out. Have your characters send a report to Waver, or hand it to him in person (the latter can be threaded.)"

QUEST #2 (March 2015) ★★ COMPLETE
- Solo Quest in the areas around Caer Glaem
- Given by Waver Velvet ([personal profile] gordianknots)
- Quest Goals: "Set during June 2701. Various areas have been rendered all but dead where the Jabberwhelp has been. Where things can’t grow, there’s food shortages, and where there’s food shortages, there are problems. In order to help prevent this from happening, Waver needs people to research and develop ways to undo the damage. The three impacted areas are Caer Glaem, Cothromach, and the Station. Only Seelie may claim the first two quests, anyone can take the Station’s quest."
- Success Metric: "Write a 3k log of your character(s) researching how to counteract the Jabberrot and rehabilitating the area, as well as informing Waver of what they learn. You will need to PM the mod account for information about what your character can learn in regards to healing the Jabberrot’s effect. You’re free to use a combination of prose and threading to finish this quest."

All right, so.

As stated in his TDM thread with Gilgamesh, Aslan has the power to "see the hearts of men" - i.e. there is canonical evidence for him knowing not only about what happens in worlds that aren't his own, but also about people (their names, etc) before he even talks to them. For the sake of the game, this will obviously be toned down in terms of what he can/cannot know about in-game events and people, but just so I'm not stepping on any toes, please fill out the following form so I know what he can know about your character!

Name: Character Name | Character Journal
Race: I.e., is your character human or something else? Can he know that?
World Information: Canon Name | Canon Information (a wiki or something like it is fine)

Summarize- What kind of place does your character come from? Is it Earth? Another planet? Have any major, world-shaking events happened recently? What kind of creation/god mythos is there?
Personal Information: A link to the character's application or some other informational source would be great, along with a brief summary of the character's life.
Issues to Be Explored: Since Aslan is very much about counseling those who need it, what, in particular, would you like Aslan to pick up about your character and address? Can be positive or negative.
Religious Affiliation: Is your character devout in some shape or form?
Plot: Is there anything your character is doing in Eachdraidh that he might know about/be interested in?
Stipulations: Can Aslan mention any of the above information publicly? If so, how much?
Tagging: Are you okay with Aslan tagging your character's posts?

Just as a note: Aslan, as a rule, will never disclose any personal information about your character to others. He isn't the type to intervene either so even if your character is dastardly and evil, he probably won't do anything about it. Free Will, and all that.

Also, regarding fourth-walling: If you think your character would ICly know about Aslan (i.e., he/she has read the books or seen the films), feel free to recognize him! Since he's from the end of Voyage of the Dawn Treader, though, I'd rather people didn't get too much into the details of the later books. UPDATE: As of August 2015, Aslan has been canon-updated to the end of The Last Battle. Anything is fair game.
