All right, so.

As stated in his TDM thread with Gilgamesh, Aslan has the power to "see the hearts of men" - i.e. there is canonical evidence for him knowing not only about what happens in worlds that aren't his own, but also about people (their names, etc) before he even talks to them. For the sake of the game, this will obviously be toned down in terms of what he can/cannot know about in-game events and people, but just so I'm not stepping on any toes, please fill out the following form so I know what he can know about your character!

Name: Character Name | Character Journal
Race: I.e., is your character human or something else? Can he know that?
World Information: Canon Name | Canon Information (a wiki or something like it is fine)

Summarize- What kind of place does your character come from? Is it Earth? Another planet? Have any major, world-shaking events happened recently? What kind of creation/god mythos is there?
Personal Information: A link to the character's application or some other informational source would be great, along with a brief summary of the character's life.
Issues to Be Explored: Since Aslan is very much about counseling those who need it, what, in particular, would you like Aslan to pick up about your character and address? Can be positive or negative.
Religious Affiliation: Is your character devout in some shape or form?
Plot: Is there anything your character is doing in Eachdraidh that he might know about/be interested in?
Stipulations: Can Aslan mention any of the above information publicly? If so, how much?
Tagging: Are you okay with Aslan tagging your character's posts?

Just as a note: Aslan, as a rule, will never disclose any personal information about your character to others. He isn't the type to intervene either so even if your character is dastardly and evil, he probably won't do anything about it. Free Will, and all that.

Also, regarding fourth-walling: If you think your character would ICly know about Aslan (i.e., he/she has read the books or seen the films), feel free to recognize him! Since he's from the end of Voyage of the Dawn Treader, though, I'd rather people didn't get too much into the details of the later books. UPDATE: As of August 2015, Aslan has been canon-updated to the end of The Last Battle. Anything is fair game.

Name: Yoshiya "Joshua" Kiryu | [personal profile] prissykid
Race: Composer (lowest ranking Angel, highest ranking Reaper)
World Information: The World Ends With You | Canon Information, but any questions about the canon and Joshua in particular, go ahead and ask me! :)

Summarize- Earth! Standard mythologies and such. Anything world-shaking is pretty much outlined in all the wiki links I gave you. :)
Personal Information: Joshua's Application and a wiki page on him specifically
Issues to Be Explored: Loneliness is a Thing for Joshua. In canon, he has only one best friend and made like three new ones, but he's not strictly allowed to hang out with them. He's bound to his "HQ" and leaving there means that Shibuya will collapse in on itself...yeah. Also, if you know the story of the Biblical figure Joshua, thennnn that was pretty much what happened in TWEWY, but Joshua was the one giving the 'wager.'
Religious Affiliation: Not particularly. He's basically a minor god himself, but Josh is more philosophical anyway.
Plot: Joshua killed a teenager and almost erased Shibuya, but didn't because the teenager changed for the better and proved to him that people can learn and grow? idk, man.
Stipulations: Not at this time. Joshua might give permission later, but atm he's trying not to let people know about any of that.
Tagging: o m g yes tag away!

Making another comment because a lot of Joshua's background is conjecture and headcanon, so I want to briefly outline those in a clean comment.

1: Joshua is technically a low-ranking Angel. His job is to judge which souls are worthy of having a second chance at life.

2: There's a line in canon used when Neku asked how he died. Joshua responds with, "Because I wanted to be here." He's in fact asked this twice, and he responds both times like this. He joined the Reaper's Game willingly as Composer, but this may also imply how Joshua died before becoming Composer. Until canon says otherwise, I've interpreted it to mean that Joshua killed himself to join the Game and become the new Composer of Shibuya.

3: Composers can be dethroned, so to speak, but it's incredibly hard to do so. They can be killed, and whoever kills them will become the next Composer. This is a common fact among Reapers. However, there's another way a person can become Composer. If the Composer Ascends as a fully fledged Angel, then their Conductor (second-in-command) will take over as the new Composer. It's very much unclear as to which happened in Joshua's case.

4: He definitely murdered Neku to use him as his proxy in a game against Megumi Kitaniji, Joshua's Conductor.

5: However, he also brought Neku, Beat, Shiki, and Rhyme back to life.

6: Joshua almost killed himself a second time, which would've been more permanent. Shibuya had become an influence on all of Tokyo, and it was starting to become more of a poison to the city as a whole. Joshua judged that the only way to save Tokyo was to erase Shibuya's UG, which would start a slow decline of the RG until it became nothing more than a shadow of what it once was. This would mean that Joshua would cease to exist because the city can't live without the Composer and neither can the Composer live without the city. However, he was willing to allow Megumi Kitaniji a chance to change his mind. If Megumi could change Joshua's mind in that Shibuya could change for the better, then he would spare the city. If Megumi failed, then he would be erased along with Shibuya. Joshua also agreed to be an observer in their game and choose a Player to be his proxy instead.

7: Megumi lost the wager and had to be erased due to the conditions of their game.

8: Ironically, Neku, who'd been chosen to be Joshua's proxy in the game, was the one to change Joshua's mind. He was the worst person in Shibuya, but the change brought about in Neku after playing the Reaper's Game made Joshua reconsider his choice.

9: He puts Neku through one last test. They each have a standoff with guns, one bullet in each one. If Neku pulls the trigger, then he'll be guaranteed to save Shibuya by becoming the new Composer. Joshua would not stop that bullet. However, if Neku doesn't shoot, then it proves to Joshua that Neku has learned to trust other people and he would spare Shibuya himself.

10: I said before that Joshua is a lonely individual and he honestly is. What he wants the most is a friend, if only for a short period of time. Joshua is effectively isolated from everyone. While it keeps him totally unbiased, it also creates a hole in his heart. Sanae Hanekoma, his closest friend who is an Angel, says that he's been lonely all his life. I've interpreted this to mean both while Joshua was in the RG (living plane) as well as present day.

Name: Gimli| [personal profile] gloinul
Race: He's a Dwarf...which is kind of obvious so he can totally know
World Information: Tolkien's Middle-earth | Wiki front page

*Particularly relevant to Aslan would be Aulë, the guy who created Dwarves. If this isn't enough or you need more information just lemme know!
Personal Information: Wiki page and Application. Really, though, the most relevant thing is he's post-War of the Ring by about four years.

Issues to Be Explored: So in the event that Gimli trusts the talking god-lion enough for this to be a thing, Gimli is currently dealing with guilt over telling his cousins what happens to them at the end of the Hobbit. Like, a lot of guilt. This is the biggest and probably the most obvious one Aslan would find.
Religious Affiliation: As devout as any other Dwarf, which is to say "pretty darn". The Dwarves are told that they were not wanted by the one who created everything else (true) and that their Maker is the only one who really loves them (kinda true). He's not a fanatic or anything, but he does adhere to Dwarf Religion
Plot: Not really!
Stipulations: Not publicly please!
Tagging: Totally, though if Aslan mentions anything that freaks Gimli out too much, he'll shut the conversation down.

Name: Nico di Angelo | [personal profile] fell_to_hell
Race: Demigod - Hades is his father, Maria di Angelo is his mother, Bianca di Angelo is his older sister, and Hazel Levesque is his half-sister, a daughter of Pluto
World Information: Percy Jackson Series | Percy Jackson & the Olympians and The Heroes of Olympus. Any questions about his world and Nico in particular, please feel free to contact me and I'll do my best to answer! :D

Summarize- Earth! Standard stuff, but in his world, the Greek mythologies are real. So are the Egyptian and Norse ones because Riordan's series are interconnected, but! As far as Nico's concerned, it's Greek and Roman. Currently, they've just defeated Gaia, the primordial deity of the earth, and now Greek and Roman demigods are not only rebuilding, but are trying to work in harmony.
Personal Information: Nico's Application, but it hasn't been updated in the personality section to be in accordance with the Blood of Olympus, which came out this past October. So. Beware of spoilers.
Issues to Be Explored: Nico was born in the 1930's and shenanigans happened that made him come into the modern world. He's a canonically gay character who is struggling with his sexuality still. He also struggles with who he is as a son of Hades and is very jaded toward people because for most of his life as a demigod, he'd been judged as 'creepy' and such. Granted, Nico hasn't helped with that image. He's not at all used to wholehearted acceptance.
Religious Affiliation: Hellenistic/Greek pantheon, Nico makes offerings to Hades, Hestia, and the Black Shuck at every meal.
Plot: At the moment, not really.
Stipulations: Sure can! Well, other than the thing about Nico's sexuality. Nico wouldn't like that. He'd be reminded of Cupid forcing it out of him once.

Name: Kelsi Nielson | [personal profile] playmakings
Race: Human!
World Information: High School Musical | Canon Information

Summarize- It's pretty much normal earth. A squeaky-clean Disney version of it, sure, but normal. Recently (in the last few years or so) the cliques in East HIgh have been shaken up majorly, and people are learning to get together and be friends. Even more recently, the group that started it all has just started to move away and promise not to drift apart. ...Yeah, those are the ~biggest shakeups~ in this canon i'm so sorry it's boring ;_;

Personal Information: Here. In addition to that she's also got healing and barrier spells from her boons, recently.

Issues to Be Explored: Kelsi needs to work on two things: one, self esteem (it's a slow trek, she's staring to learn about herself and how good she really is) and two, waaaaay much more confidence than sh has.
Religious Affiliation: Christian, probably Catholic. I headcanon that she goes to church every sunday, but mostly because she's the organist and she loves the music so much.
Plot: Healing, healing, healing. She's kept this on a backburner but she's also tyring to desperately come to some sort of idea to make the courts/houses stop fighting each other.
Stipulations: Please do! All of it, if you want. :)
Tagging: Heck yes! I welcome it.

Name: Lucifer (Goes by Hikaru in human form) | [personal profile] individualist
Race: He's one part Angel, one part Demon, but this ultimately makes him something unique with an undefinable title rather than being "half angel half demon" or "a fallen angel". He just identifies as himself rather than any kind of race in particular.

As for knowinggggggg...kind of? Aslan can totally tell Hikaru definitely isn't human, and even something super ancient (millions and millions of years old, the dawn of creation levels of old) but i'd rather he not know Hikaru's an angel/demon/the devil because im trying to keep that a secret for now, and so if Lucifer ic'ly
World Information: Lucifer actually canonically travels from 'World to World' (not a planet, but the entire reality of any given canon, as an example, so he dimensionhops constantly) so he has no home world. But basically it's all the same as real world bible shit, except for a few key differences

- God created everything as it is now, but not in a literal sense. He overthrew the mother goddesses and all of the existing old gods then, turned them into demons, banished them to hell and then took over. In a sense this was his "creation" in that the way everything was then ended, and from that point on, history went the way God wanted it to, which for the most part is identical to real world history.
- Also of note, Satan and Lucifer are separate beings. Satan is an Angel who works for God to tempt people to sin, then if they do, judges them guilty and smites them. He was the one who did the whole apple in the garden thing on God's orders, but Lucifer kind of takes the blame for it as a result of "history is written by the victor".

Aside from that everything that's happened in his canon doesn't relate to him as "his world" cause technically none of them are. So nothing else to mention!

Personal Information: N/A since he won't know it's Lucifer, so probably won't know this either.
Issues to Be Explored: Nothing, because it's impossible for anything but the actions of regular human beings to change his opinion or stance on anything.
Religious Affiliation: HAHA HE SURE IS.
Plot: Nope! The Monarchs of the Unseelie are basically doing all the work for him, he's just trying to push things along through getting to know people as 'hikaru'.
Stipulations: Nothing, please.
Tagging: Absolutely!

Name: Korra | [personal profile] sangilak
Race: human, Water Tribe, and yes! her soul is also fused with the light spirit Raava.
World Information: The Legend of Korra | Canon Information

Summarize - Korra comes from a world where there are some people without supernatural powers and fewer who are; these people are called benders. 99.9% of benders are born with the ability to manipulate only one element: earth, fire, air, or water. that last .1%? can control all four. they are the Avatar, spirit of the world incarnate as well as the sole person who is in charge of keeping "balance" in the world. they are considered a spiritual and political leader, and a force in the world to be reckoned with. all of the major events in the world are detailed in Korra's wiki page as well as the plot summary page, but here's the reader's digest version for how far Korra's personal timeline in the game is going:
book 1: she arrives in Republic City; a man named Amon calls for equality between benders & non-benders, and displays a power to take away a person's bending for good; he attacks the pro-bending arena, shutting it down; eventually threatens to rid the world of airbending and, trying to protect the last airbending family, Korra puts herself in harm's way and is eventually stripped of her own power; her past lives restore her power weeks later in the Southern Water Tribe.
book 2: dark spirits attack the world; the northern & southern water tribes are on the brink of war; harmonic convergence approaches, and the chaos spirit Vaatu is set free; Unalaq and Vaatu fuse and attack Republic City and Korra bends her spirit energy to save the world; the spirit portals are left open, allowing humans and spirits to live together.
book 3: spirit wilds in Republic City and everyone hates the Avatar; an anarchist group is on the loose and trying to hunt down Korra; Zaheer, the leader, kills the Earth Queen.

Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: good lord, where to start... Korra was sheltered away from the world until the age of 17 so she's lacking in social skills. she's very determined to succeed, often without thinking things through and it's caused her a LOT of trouble, both at home and here in the Drabwurld. she carries a lot of guilt about what happened in a place called "Redgate" (while trying to save and free a dragon, she accidentally killed a lot of people... oop), and though she's already faced her trial there, she'll continue to feel guilty for a long while. honestly, korra feels like a really sucky Avatar after everything that's happened in both worlds, and she wants nothing more than to balance this world, but being able to make the tough calls in order to prevent tougher situations down the road still haunts her. halp aslan-wan kenobi!!
Religious Affiliation: well considering she's a literal god on earth... her belief system would be more recognizable as buddhist/taoist and eastern influenced. she knows spirits, she's talked to them, and is part light spirit herself.
Plot: quite possibly!! but Korra's been here almost a year, so it might be best to ease into that... right now she's sort of "in disgrace" of the Seelie court by speaking out of turn to Queen Solais (Korra thinks she was perfectly fine, tyvm), but if that's something Aslan could know, feel free to have him mention it because of aforementioned "struggling to choose to do tough things for the good of all".
Stipulations: yes, mention away! it might shake Korra at first but it's safe to say that she requires a lot of spiritual and mental healing now and in the future so she'll come around eventually.
Tagging: yes please!!

Name: Katsa of the Middluns | [personal profile] survivra
Race: human, sort of? she's a Graceling. he can know!
World Information: Graceling Realm Trilogy | Canon Information

There's not a very good information source, so just quickly: she comes from a medieval-fantasy land with seven kingdoms in which a child rarely develops into a Graceling (information on Gracelings linked above). The world generally fears and discriminates against Gracelings because they're odd and unnerving, but except for in one kingdom all Gracelings belong to their king and are sent to court when their Grace develops to be deemed whether they can be of use to the king or not. If their Grace is thought to be useless at court (like swimming) they're sent home.

There's a neighboring country that is not discovered at Katsa's current point in canon called the Dells. There are no Gracelings in the Dells but instead beings called monsters, which can be born of any species (human, animal) and are identified by their unnaturally brightly colored hair/fur and send out a sort of mental siren call, drawing people in so they can eat and attack. Human monsters have the capability to read minds and leave mental suggestions and impressions.

There does not seem to be any sort of god mythos laid out in canon. The country of Monsea is recovering from years of being ruled by a mind-controlling king, majorly altering their customs and leaving them in a fog without memory and agency.

Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: Still feeling guilt about all the people she killed when she let herself be controlled by her uncle and trying to reclaim her "viciousness" and own personality while making up for previously seeing herself as a wild killing animal. Major fear of mind readers. Huge concern with personal freedom! Loves and cares about people whether she knows them or not.
Religious Affiliation: None at all
Plot: She's trying to set up her Council in the Drabwurld to help do something about injustices in the world, help people who need protection and root out corruption and lies and get bad people out of power. o: If he might be interested?
Stipulations: He can mention whatever publicly at your discretion!
Tagging: Yes, definitely!

Name: Draco | [personal profile] merelychewed
Race: Dragon
World Information: Dragonheart | Canon Information

Draco's from a Earth where there used to totally be dragons, some measure of magic, King Arthur and his knights were a thing, and it's set somewhere in the time that Saxons have settled into what's now England but generally who knows what time, it's all one big shrug, and have stomped out a lot of the old ways (and also all the dragons).

Personal Information: Here.

To sum it up, though, he's (or was) the last dragon of his world, one with a good heart who done goofed up, then made friends with a dragonslayer and helped overthrow an evil king to make up for the aforementioned goof up. This kills the dragon (literally), but hey, he was ready to go, so s'all good.

Issues to Be Explored: His death, but he was actually pretty content at the very end of his life. He fixed the mess he made and hopefully left one final good memory for man to remember the dragons by. Getting stuck in the Drabwurld instead of in the Dragon's Heaven, however, is a little worrisome, like maybe he didn't do well enough after all, so that could be a thing.

Religious Affiliation: No religion, but he is spiritual in the sense he knows there's a heaven (The Dragon's Heaven was created when one of the oldest dragons, the one who got the other dragons to agree to help protect and guide mankind, died and became the first star in a constellation later called 'Draco' by man; from then on, the souls of dragons who had done good with their lives went on to become stars in it as well) and that he frets about the state of his own soul.

Plot: He just got here, too, so naw, dawg, not yet.
Stipulations: Just not his death, at least not outright. Everything else is fair game.

Name: Dorian Gray | [personal profile] depicted
Race: human WHO SOLD HIS SOUL TO THE DEVIL WHOOPS it's okay if he knows
World Information: The Confessions of Dorian Gray | Canon Information laid out in that part of the app

Summarize- In an Earth where every kind of supernatural jackass is real and lingering under the surface despite the written record of their live published as fiction, which Victorian public domain character will Dorian meet next???
Personal Information: Here.

No longer so young or so innocent and still having sold his soul to the Devil, Dorian is a bit of a sinful jackass. Some canon quotes: "But people aren't like that, are they? They dance about on the edge, back and forth, from good to bad, angel to demon. All the time. I was never meant to be an angel. They have so very far to fall. I can only be me."

Neither wholly bad nor wholly evil, mostly bad at consequences, reckless, and irresponsible. Sort of like a teenager who never stops being a teenager (which is technically true: he's 18 forever). Has done some very, very bad things (including murder and corruption of innocents) but also has done some very good and noble things (including sacrificing himself for others and saving the world).
Issues to Be Explored: Still the misplaced guilt issues and the rejection of personal guilt issues, the self-esteem issues are also actually still there but different and he still sucks at judging character. also using hedonism as a coping mechanism is ineffective and maybe someone should learn to change his behaviour patterns instead of giving in to self-destructive cycles, ok.
Religious Affiliation: Areligious but totally willing to believe in God and all that. He just, you know. Isn't going to stop doing things God probably doesn't approve of.
Plot: I'm not even sure at this point.
Stipulations: Public is fine.

Name: Ben Hawkins | [personal profile] rube
Race: Creature of Light/Avatar | feel free to have Aslan know!
World Information: CarnivĂ le | Canon Information annnd for your sake, Canon mythology

Summarize-, 1935 (Dust Bowl/Depression era), the Lincoln Highway headed to Wyoming. There's a Creature of Light (that's Ben!) and a Creature of Darkness (Ben's opposite), that fight to save/end the world. That's put into super simple terms because if I go into it, it's going to get really complicated really fast.
Personal Information: here is a short version! and here is his app.

A link to the character's application or some other informational source would be great, along with a brief summary of the character's life.
Issues to Be Explored: Mom issues. Dad issues. issues everywhere!!! Connection, emotional and physical, is something that Ben struggles with daily. He doesn't like to talk about himself with others, has the social skills of a prickly rock, and is incredibly blunt. Anger is also an issue with him and he tends to kind of ....overreact. There's also a lot of self-hatred (which he's kind of gotten over) and he's calmed down a lot since being in Eachdraidh, but he's still a tough nut to crack (and knows it). HOWEVER THERE IS A BRIGHT SIDE: he does not lie and he has heart of gold. He has a real need to help people in trouble and sympathizes with those in pain. He's probably the sweetest, most gentle boy anyone will come in contact with if they get past that hard exterior.
Religious Affiliation: Yes! He was raised reading the Bible and believes in God, and he is also a Prophet himself. Think Jesus, but ...grumpy and antisocial. (funnily enough jesus is also a creature of light in carnivĂ le mythology)
Plot: He's not doing much atm, besides helping around where he can and taking in as much info about the world as possible. he's also trying (and failing) to find a way back home, and as far as involvement with war, he sticks to the sidelines to help those who are injured c:
Stipulations: No, unfortunately. Ben is incredibly private with his abilities and goes to great lengths to avoid the topic. Unless Aslan knows prior, he probably won't mention anything about himself until ...idk, months later??? not even joking.

Summarize- Earth in 1066! After the Romans but before the Crusades, though her dad and crazy uncles will swear black and blue they've fought Romans. Standard Scottish mythology with Irish influences.
Personal Information: info and her wiki

Issues to Be Explored: She's been working through some issues since she arrived and was recently canon updated to post movie, two years after Mor'du, and is on the mends with her relationship with her mother. Despite this, Merida still has some feels about not being the perfect princess and has some loneliness issues since basically growing up with just a horse for a friend. Though her heart's been changing due to growing up and learning a few needed lessons, she's still a teenager who has many, many things to work through.
Religious Affiliation: Celtic. I have it that Lugh is her homestead's patron but she generally believes in most myths and legends.
Plot: She's sticking her nose out of the war atm and hasn't really done anything plot note worthy aside from taking part in the White Hunt and killing the Hart back in Dec (but was remorseful about it). She's trying to remain as neutral as possible.

Race: Pod is "truehuman" and Kiga is a wolverine!
World Information: The Dragonlord Series | ...ahaha ha ha... This canon is really obscure and does not have a wiki or anything. So I'll just link to Pod's Info page. I wrote up as much of the general world info as I could near the bottom

Summarize- Earth-like, with cultural analogues, but very different geology. Medieval technology, with magic everywhere
Sentient species: humans, dragons (think western), waterdragons (more eastern), and Kir (no real physical description except furry and "short-muzzled faces")
Important special cases: Dragonlords (have the soul of a dragon and a human bound together (and then splits into two Dragonlords with half of each). essentially weredragons, and the reason dragons and humans proper have "true" put in front), and The Phoenix (singular magical creature that dies and rebirths itself, and wasn't sentient, until the most recent cycle where it died with a dragon; it may have part of a dragon's soul now but nobody really knows)
Religion: polytheistic, and pantheon led by a mother-earth type only called in canon "The Goddess" and I headcanon that all the gods and goddesses are definitely real, if not directly involved in human affairs for the most part. Certain groups are literally "favored of the gods."

Personal Information: Her info post again. and her permissions have a more concise description of her powers. Most would be moot in relation to Aslan himself, but the supernatural rapport with animals might be of interest

Pod's life started out with really horrible abuse, but she was rescued from that by a Beast Healer and a Dragonlord, and is now well on the way to becoming a Beast Healer herself. Her brother-in-fur is the wolverine Kiga, and they have a pure bond that shines like a light to magical senses. Very recently, Pod was led by a figure of authority over her into a very, very bad place, haunted by a murderous dark spirit and cursed with tons of old blood-magic. The authority figure paid for his reckless endangerment of kids with his life, and Pod risked hers twice to try to save him, and then succumbed to stress and a little bit of pride and gave Kiga an order enforced by magic which separated them temporarily.

This led to her and another girl getting chased around a cursed wood that was as much out to kill them as the actual human madman with the knife who was determined to slaughter them and drink their blood. They were both saved by a Dragonlord, who'd been led to them by the bond between Pod and Kiga, and following Kiga back to her when his magic amplified hers enough for her to mentally call Kiga home. The girls were saved, and the Dragonlord got some very important evidence to save another innocent life, that he would have been very unlikely to find if not for being led, so calling divine intervention with the whole thing.

Issues to Be Explored: She's mostly over the abuse she suffered as a kid, but there are still a few scars, and some small insecurity over being a bastard. Mostly though, it manifests in a need to prove herself and make the people she cares for "proud of her", which isn't a bad thing, necessarily, but she'd benefit from having someone who cares for her just as she is (and that she'll... believe when they say that). She's also still struggling with essentially mild survivor's guilt over not being able to save her teacher's life, even though she knows she couldn't have done anything. All of them are fairly mild, as issues go, but!

Religious Affiliation: Very! She acknowledges and believes in the other gods, but Beast Healers serve and swear fealty to just one. That god is The Great Stag, Kerras of the Golden Antlers, and the god of all beasts wild and tame (and also of healing said beasts). As a Beast Healer, she's one of those "favored of the gods" and her magic is a blessing from Kerras. I headcanon that Beast Healers are his priesthood in everything but name. Here, in Drabwurld, Pod has kind of adopted the White Hart as a surrogate deity, and now prays to both him and Kerras.

Plot: Pod is (or will be when her quest is declared complete) now a "friend of the animals" and just got a boon that will allow her to learn to speak with beasts and birds. She will be pursuing both of these things and mostly staying out of the war (except, perhaps, stepping in to help with the destruction that's coming in Feb from the Jabberwock)

Stipulations: Pod might ICly get tense and twitchy if certain things are brought up (her being a bastard, as an example) but, she would assume Aslan has a reason for it.

Race: Human
World Information: The Musketeers | Canon Information

Summarize- Anne comes from Earth, from the year 1625
Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: Anne has a great many issues but she tries to keep them concealed. She is unhappy back in France- being Spanish in a French court she has no real friends, she misses her family and forbidden from communicating with them, and her husband is kind of ridiculous. There is no love in that marriage even if she is loyal to him (or tries to be). She is pregnant at the moment with the child from an affair with one of the king's musketeers as well, who will be the Dauphin/future king of France.
Religious Affiliation: Roman Catholic
Plot: She's the Seelie delegate to the city of Parrais and is seeking to make a stable life for her son here.
Stipulations: Everything except for her son's true father. That could get...awkward. Anne knows all too well what she did.

Name: Maglor | [personal profile] bythewaves
Race: Tolkien Elf and go ahead~
World Information: Tolkien's Silmarillion | Canon Information (essentially this is Tolkien's Middle-earth's Bible)

Summarize- MAGS IS FROM MIDDLE-EARTH. Just. Before the time that most folk know it. He's from the end of the First Age, when the Elves were the dominant power and Morgoth/Satan/Ultimate Evil was a physical presence, before the Valar/the Powers of the World who are not quite gods but god like shut him out of the world until the End of Days. Mags is/was in a rebellion against said Powers but he loves and fears them and only really acted for love of his father itsalongstory

Personal Information: wiki and his app here TLDR warning

important to Aslan: Maglor is a bard from a canon created by song. He "hears" the Song of the World and like most elves is horribly sensitive to supernatural power. He is likely to drop to his knees the minute Aslan even twitches in his direction...

Issues to Be Explored: ha.ha.hahasob. SO MAGS HAS A GUILT COMPLEX ABOUT A MILE HIGH. Essentially the story of the Feanorionnath goes like this: Dad makes shiny jewels that are the ME equivalent of crack. Satan kills Grandpa & steals jewels. Dad goes mad, swears unbreakable Oath to get them back irregardless of what stands in their way. Mags & all his brothers swear the same. Go to ME from paradise via the bodies of their kinsfolk. DEATH AND WAR AND KILLING OF ANYONE AND EVERYONE who has one of dad's shinies, except Satan because you can't beat Satan. Realise when you get said jewels back that you had become so evil that the holy jewels burn your hands off. Yes. He is very, very suicidal - he's about two people in Each away from falling on his sword or simply fading away. He's utterly convinced that he's a terrible person and bad luck to everyone around him (it helps that Death/Fate told him so before they left paradise, and what family he has in Each keep dying or leaving...)... and secretly, quietly, Mags desperately wants forgiveness, despite having decided that he does not deserve it.
Religious Affiliation: Yes. Maglor swore that unbreakable oath in the name of the two highest Powers - Manwe and Varda... and also of Eru, ie God Himself. Elves in general are very devout, if in a slightly different way to how humans would be. They don't pray to Eru, because he's too far above them, but they love and honor him. They don't pray to the Valar, because the Valar aren't Gods, but they honor them in song, and invoke them in Oath, and maybe might drop a prayer once or twice in the "yo my old friend I wonder if you can hear me" sense. Mags, of course, won't pray at all because he believes that no one hears him.
Plot: not really!
Stipulations: The stuff about the kinslaying is pretty common knowledge, but Mags seldom responds to anything public anyway so... probably...n...ot? Kin, for Mags, would not count as public, however. Aslan could say anything he liked in front of any of the Elves from Middle earth and he probably wouldn't bat an eye.

Race: Human!
World Information: Inception | Canon Information

Basically Earth, 2010, with the only major difference being technology that allows for people to share dreams.
Personal Information: Here.

Most of her history is headcanon outside of the movie- only child, born and raised outside of Chicago, mother is a housewife/socialite who bakes a great deal and father is a banker.
Issues to Be Explored: She's been rather directly pushed into the war, thanks to being in Caer Glaem's dungeons at one point and now living between the Seelie and Caer Scima. Also the Seelie guards touched her totem, which helps her distinguish dreams from reality, so it's basically ruined. lol :(
Religious Affiliation: She's not really sure what she believes! Though she accidentally has her own cult in Eachdraidh. Oops.
Plot: She's an Unseelie Baroness (Black Spire #3), she accidentally turned into a giant shadow monster once and can now turn into a smaller version, that shadow monster is worshiped as the Devourer of Light.
Stipulations: Go for it! She'll be super surprised, but eh. If it involves dreamshare, maybe if it's a private conversation? She's trying to keep that pretty quiet.

World Information: Dishonored | Canon Information + The Knife of Dunwall + The Brigmore Witches

Not Earth, but similar to Earth in Victorian times with some seriously messed up animals. The Outsider is the latest of gods chosen by the Void, which is an alternate dimension that created and will end the world. The current main religion is the Abbey of the Everyman, which says that basically all spirits are evil and against humans and stands against the Outsider (though it's important to note that he's not entirely good or evil). They're also horribly corrupt.
Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: In Eachdraidh he's been rather depowered, which is making the Outsider take a more active role where otherwise he would only observe. He also has actual friends for the first time in 4000 years. He's not very good at dealing with either of these facts.
Religious Affiliation: Well he is a god, so there's. That. ???
Plot: Currently looking to find a way to destroy the Sea's Breath, a magical artifact that the monarchs of both courts want that allows the holder to control the ocean and its weather. Also he recently put plague rats in the Greenwood to see what would happen. He likes to experiment with the microwaves at the Station.

Name: John Grimm | [personal profile] chromosomes
Race: Genetically enhanced human!
World Information: Doom (movie) | Canon Information

Earth in the year 2046! In 2026, archaelogists discovered a portal to Mars in the desert of Nevada. Most of the movie takes place on the research facility on Mars, called Olduvai.
Personal Information: Here.

A full written history can be found here because the wiki is bad, but basically: John and his twin sister Samantha's parents were archaelogists who were killed in an accident on Olduvai when they were young. John joined the Marines while Sam became an archaeologist and the two had barely spoken in ten years before seeing each other again during the movie, when John's unit was sent to Olduvai to investigate a ~situation~. John had recently had a bad mission in which his best friend was killed and he's p sure it's his fault, not helped by the fact that military therapists made him relive all of it for therapy. On Olduvai, they discover that the scientists had discovered humanoid remains with a synthetic chromosome that made them superhuman. Unfortunately, it turns ~bad people~ into monsters. Almost everyone (except John and Sam) is killed or turned into a monster, John is injected with the synthetic chromosome by his sister to save his life and becomes superhuman, and then he fights The Rock (who plays his commanding officer) as he turns into a monster. Then John blows up the way to Olduvai and he and Sam get in an elevator.

It's a really bad movie.
Issues to Be Explored: GUILT. OH SO MUCH GUILT. Also he's pretty nervous about accidentally hurting people since he became superhuman and then almost immediately ended up in Eachdraidh, oops. Also p conflicted about the war.
Religious Affiliation: Not really! He's not an atheist but he's kind of "ehh"
Plot: John's a Knight of the Golden Cadre and recently undertook a quest to find a way to kill the Jabberwock.
Stipulations: GO FOR IT. John had initially tried to keep the superhuman thing under wraps but then he got publicly chainsawed by Grell and having the entire network see you get up without a scratch on you after that kind of makes that null and void.

Nabooru - Seelie

[personal profile] chivalrist 2015-01-29 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Name: Nabooru | [personal profile] chivalrist
Race: Gerudo
World Information:
Zelda: Ocarina of Time | Game Info - Hyrule - Gerudo

Hyrule's lands were created by three goddesses (Din, Nayru, and Farore), who created the Triforce upon leaving the world. The Triforce is a golden relic located in a sealed away Sacred Realm, which will grant the wishes of anyone who touches it - unless they have an unrighteous heart, as Ganondorf did. When Ganondorf managed to get his hands on the Triforce, it split into three pieces and divided itself among those who would best hold its gifts of power, wisdom, and courage.

Goddesses aside, Gerudo follow their own deity - the Goddess of the Sand. Not much is known about this figure, but she probably embodies the traits we see Gerudo following - endurance and courage as well as wisdom and honour.

Nabooru herself is a Sage, which are presented as avatars of different elements (Nabooru is the Spirit Sage) as well as guardians of the Sacred Realm.

Personal Information:
Here.

The Exalted Nabooru was second in command only to Ganondorf, and accordingly held great respect. She was content to follow the king - until he started to become more brutal and cruel in his quest for power. As time went on, and Ganondorf seemed to be less concerned with what their people needed and more with what he wanted, she grew to loathe him. Eventually, Nabooru attempted to break into his headquarters - the Spirit Temple of the Gerudo goddess - but she was captured and brainwashed into serving him. Seven years later, she was freed by the player character Link, and when the temple was cleansed she was awoken as a Sage. She went on to aid Link, along with the other Sages, in sealing Ganondorf away.

Nabooru is a thief as all the Gerudo are, and she can be brash, vicious, and prideful. However, honour and justice are of the utmost importance to her, and she's also protective, caring, and determined to do what's right.

Issues to Be Explored: At time of writing this, Nabooru's main concern (outside of the war she's been put into) is her own position as a Sage and what that means for her/how she's supposed to proceed. She feels like she's expected to act a certain way without being first told what that way is. Additionally, her enslavement is still weighing heavily on her mind, and when she discovers that Ganondorf is in the Drabwurld too she's going to feel like he's her responsibility - whilst also being unable to stop him herself.
Religious Affiliation: Nabooru believes both in the GotS and probably the three golden goddesses, owing to her knowledge of the Triforce and the Sacred Realm. She's respectful of it, but probably not strongly devout.
Plot: Not yet!
Stipulations: All of it is open!

Name: Mako | [personal profile] jaywalks
Race: Human, firebender.
World Information: Legend of Korra | Canon Information

Summarize- Summarize - literally copy/pastes most of this from korra's Mako comes from a world where there are most people without supernatural powers and few who are; these people are called benders. Apart from one Avatar every generation, benders are born with the ability to manipulate only one element: earth, fire, air, or water. The Avatar, can bend all four. Mako is from a city of exponential industrial growth in a traditionally spiritual world, struggling with the issues of a densely urban population and injustices that come with it. But it's cool he helps out the Avatar. Reader's digest version:
book 1: mako is an orphan (with a batman origin story in a dark alley at the age of eight) finally off of the streets with his little brother, hoping to finally break out of poverty by winning the annual probending tournament. not everything goes according to plan, though, when korra joins their team and they have to fight terrorists who are hell bent on using the preexisting social inequalities to fuel an anti-bender revolution. mako has a terrible romance plotline where he falls in love with korra while dating another girl and it goes awful, but they stop the head terrorist by the end, and mako has to come clean about his mistakes and lies.
book 2: six months later, now dating korra, mako is a police officer and not poor as hell anymore. he tries his best and is eager to do his job, but this gets in the way of his relationships with his girlfriend, brother, and best friend, when he is the cassandra of the group, finding the lie under all of their separate goals. at the end of the season, after ANOTHER romance disaster, mako helps korra defeat the spirit of chaos and evil, and yeah, there's another break up, but the spirit portals are open....
book 3: ... which leads to a whole other problem. spirits are wild in republic city, and mako is trying to help the police keep order while he separates himself from both of the girls he feels uncomfortable around because of his past mistakes. when the team wants to leave to find new airbenders, he assumes they'd rather not have him around, but is convinced to go and is dragged into the whole, more terrorists, earth queen gets killed, terrorists almost kill korra, mako kills one of the terrorists and its awful. the only good part of the season for mako is that he and bolin, who have been on their own without an extended family or parents for the last 11 years, find their father's family in ba sing se, and finally have a family that's more than just the two of them.

Personal Information: Here.

Issues to Be Explored: HAHAHAH a lot. he's slightly neurotic, and feels the need to be in control of situations a LOT because of how much his life usually wasn't when he was growing up. he fears loss and death more than he dwells on his parent's death, and he is painfully self-sacrificial when it comes to protecting things and people he cares about, to the point where he doesn't always realize how much other people need him. he doesn't understand himself at all, and is more likely to just... cut himself off from emotions whenever they get in his way (except when he can't).
Religious Affiliation: He doesn't follow any particular defined religion, but he is aware and appropriately respectful of spirits, especially after meeting Korra.
Plot: Mako is currently responsible for raising Rizhao, a native baby dragon who can... shapeshift into human form. she takes up most of his time/energy, and he's recently become fearful of the fact that he knows the seelies would like to use her as a weapon of war later in life. he's training to be a healer and maybe even mage if he can, and as he's almost died once, he has a growing distaste for close quarters combat that he's trying to mitigate with learning archery... and also trying to learn how to kill without letting it upset him, which is a bad plan.
Stipulations: YES, ALL OF IT.

HELLO LION JESUS, THIS IS ORC JESUS. We need to have CR.

Name: Thrall | [personal profile] shamanism (His real name is Go'el, which is one of the titles traditionally given to the Messiah, and he liberated the orcs, which is also the role of a goel, so yup)
Race: Orc. And, um, yes.
World Information: Warcraft | Canon Information

A group of gods called the Titans created Azeroth and possibly other planets in the universe. One of them got mad. He became the leader of a bunch of demons. His name is Sargeras. This comes into play later.

There's a race of space goats on some distant planet. Sargeras corrupts most of them, but one of them has dreams about benevolent light-beings and takes his people to exile because fuck that, we're not becoming demons. They settle on another planet full of brown bulky people with tusks and megafauna.

Sargeras, the corrupted Titan, goes, "oh hey, there's those people I want to kill." So he goes through the orcs, and his followers use some underhanded tricks to corrupt the orcs into becoming warlocks and playing with demon magic. Eventually, they drink demon blood and become enslaved. They start killing everything and everyone. They're winning.

Some other shit happens wherein Sargeras like, possesses some guy or... something. More importantly, the Dark Portal is built.

So here's Azeroth, it's got some humans and elves and it looks fairly medieval. And then some fucking demon-blood-drinking orcs come crashing through the portal. They destroy shit. They destroy a LOT OF SHIT. Then, suddenly, they give up fighting. The demon blood thing wears off and they end up shoved in internment camps because no one knows what to do with all these green skinned aliens from another dimension.

This is when Thrall comes in.

Personal Information: GOD WHY DO YOU WANT HIS WIKI? THERE IS SO MUCH HERE.

okay but here's my info page

Issues to Be Explored: Thrall has a lot of issues still relating to his slavery and abuse (god, he was so abused)... He has some pride, but his ego recently took a hit and he feels like his goal, which is peace for the Horde & Alliance, might be too far out of reach. He feels out of touch with his people sometimes because he was raised by humans and not orcs.
Religious Affiliation: Yes! He is a shaman, and regularly communes with the elements (literally talking to them, because they talk back) and also the spirits/ancestors (dead people are totally a thing. Hi mom.)
Plot: Thrall is sorta edging toward neutrality, but nothing solid yet, since he just got here.
Stipulations: Please don't talk about the neutrality thing if he starts working on making a neutral faction with other people. Feel free to mention he's a peace loving bastard though.
